General Gameplay
There are several changes happening in the Jungle that are designed to increase aggression and the viability of invading, while also better balancing the buff options available to your team. Although there is now more room for activities, the Jungle is a bit more unsafe. The removal of the mana buffs on the Gold Fury side of Conquest focuses more on choice through itemization and team combinations rather than through buffs. The addition of the new Attack Speed and In Hand Power Buff empowers gods who prefer Basic Attacking, for those who would rather shoot their enemies down. The harpy camps in the middle of the Conquest map now show up late to the party, and don’t even bring a dessert. They now spawn at the three minute mark instead of at the beginning. The Jungle starts in the beginning of the match are now identical, but it also means your enemies know exactly where you are at the beginning and can punish you for it.

Jungle Camp Changes(All Maps)
All Jungle camps, including the Fire Giant and Gold Fury, no longer become invulnerable and heal instantly when leashed or reset. They now heal at a rate of 10% of their maximum health value every 1s and are able to be re-engaged during their retreat back to camp.

-While leasing or out-of-combat, camp monsters will no longer take damage from sources outside of their leashing area.
-A new Attack Speed Buff (Purple) has been added into all maps and provides +15%
-Attack Speed, +15 Magical In-Hand Power and +12 Physical In-Hand Power. This buff replaces the Speed Buff (Orange) in every map except Conquest, where it replaces the --Gold Fury side Mana (Blue) Buff.

Jungle Camp Changes (Conquest)
-Mid Harpy camps now have their initial spawn delayed by 3min.
-The Speed Buff (Orange) now only provides movement speed, and not attack speed.
-The Power Buff and the Speed Buff on the Order side of the map have been swapped and are now aligned to be on the same side of the map.
-Both Mana Buff camps on the Gold Fury side of the map have been removed and replaced with the new Attack Speed Buff (Purple).
-Jungle camps now have introduction animations, as well as reaction animations. Note: The introductions have been improved over the course of PTS, and camps are now hittable” at the correct map timings.
-Jungle camps and minions will no longer target each other, allowing minions to return to lane quicker.

Titans
-Titans will no longer take damage from any source outside of its leashing range while being leashed or standing at its spawn point.

Fire Giant:
-The Fire Giant now uses both Melee and Ranged attacks.
-The Fire Giant now uses a new set of abilities, and has a new encounter.
Towers and Phoenixes
-Fixed an issue that will allow for faster targeting of towers and phoenixes onto players.

Lane Mechanics:
-Assist reward range for minion and camp kills reduced from 80 to 60.
-The time to earn rewards from tagging (damaging) minions and camps has been reduced from 10s to 5s.

Leagues
Season 1 of League is wrapping up, and in this patch players will be earning their exclusive rewards! In Season 2 we will opening up Conquest League to allow players to queue up with a friend, which was one of our most requested features from Season 1.

As a majority of our players prefer to play with friends, we feel this change will increase the population in League, which brings a number of benefits.

League Rewards have been given out for Season 1.

All League participants have received Icons for the division they completed this round in.

Players who placed in Gold Tier or higher received the Bakasura Rage Skin.

Players who placed in Platinum Tier or higher received the Rage Loading Frame, with indicator of their Tier.

TEAMING: At the start of season 2 we will be allowing teams of two players to queue together in League.

Teamed players cannot enter the League queue if they are placed more than one Tier apart for each other.

At the start of Season 2 we will be adjusting the MMR distribution of league divisions, in order to achieve the correct targeted population percentiles per division. Players may be soft reset” into a new division or Tier.

At the start of Season 2, legacy players who did not undergo Qualifying matches (before they were added), and are significantly under placed, will be automatically promoted as if completing qualifications.

Conquest Reborn

Now there's a good chance a lot more gods are viable. Can't wait to mess around with all the new items.

Can't wait for Bellona to come out. Been waiting to play a female warrior ever since Nemesis was reclassified as an assassin.

Might try some Conquest matches just to see the new map stuff. I've been almost exclusively in Assault and (to a lesser extent) Arena for a long while now.

Hopefully this is the kind of support the Xbox One version gets. Really impressive patch list, probably timed to annoy DOTA too. :D

I have the Ultimate God pack... I really liked the game but found it harder to get into than League as time went on. (I think I'm level 17)

Maybe I should hop back in for this.

Would be a good time. Lot of changes and the new map make it so everyone has something to relearn.

This patch will be in the Xbox One version at launch, right?

I imagine so. I don't think it's a coincidence that the new season is starting with the console version right around the corner. I think the closed beta is still the old version, but it's mostly to test performance, control, and UI so I bet the launch release is up to date.

Daaaamn. Just logged in, the new game menu is so much nicer. Yeah sure it looks more high tech now and not really god-like (if that makes sense) but is so much slicker.

Xbox One will get the same support like the PC version, at least that's what Andy Anderson said to me when I was chatting with the man leading the Xbox One version.

I can't get over the UI...

Far snappier and you'll see more improvements come over from the Xbox One version as well. Seriously some of the changes for the console version are just night and day, not because its designed with limited control but more that its far clearer to the user.

This patch will be in the Xbox One version at launch, right?

Yes it will be. The Xbox One version I got to try at World Championship had the new map.

I wish there was some kind of level decay. I hit cap a long time ago and stopped playing, imagine I'd get absolutely destroyed if I came back now.

Played my first match of Conquest as Nemesis Jungle, holy shit their Xba got fed as fuuuck. Though the rest of my team did really good (including myself) and we managed to win in the end.

This is is the kind of update Tribes Ascend desperately needed (along with proper custom mapping) before HiRez abandoned it for Smite.

So tempted to start playing Smite again when it hits XB1.

There has to be more stuff they did, specifically to casters. I fought a Hades that was nigh unkillable with how tanky he was and he was out damaging all of us no problem. It didn't get worse than him, but it seemed like every magic user was absolutely nuking my friends and I and when we hit them back with physical it barely scratched them.

It would be awesome to amp up the community on here a bit especially with the release of season 2. If anyone needs a group to join up with, feel free to add me: Enordash

I really hope the migration over to the XO goes smoothly. I'm really looking forward to it. For the people who have tried it, was the transition to a controller difficult at all?

Miss Smite.. had to move my gaming PC to the basement and it hardly gets any love... new Mac Book Pro running Windows on the side for some reason gives me errors on just Smite for Shader issues so I really REALLY want the X1 version to come out soon. Can not wait to play on my TV. Many of my friends are going to jump in at that time and try it once it hits the X1

These all seem like solid changes although I am a rookie who enjoys the other non hardcore modes ... just love the variety of the game and I am glad it is starting to get some serious traction.

I bought all the heroes for this but I don't play it enough. I'm so used to dota that interface is confusing to me. I will eventually get back into it though.

Yeah with all the moba love that goes around here II'm surprised Smite has such a small group on gaf.

It's at least good to see that the Xbox version should have a reasonably big player base right off the bat.
