I thought Mags (i.e. Margo Martindale) was probably the best thing they borrowed from Justified
Went through the first two episodes, and so far i really like it. It reminds of some of the more fun Breaking Bad episodes from early in the series. The con man techniques are fun to watch. Main character is both likable and a douche bag and I really like the rest of the cast too. His brother in particular plays being dumbass really well.
So far, i'm enjoying it more than any other Amazon original.

Pilot episode was fun. Shore really wanted to get a Rockford Files-esque show off the ground during his House MD years, I can definitely see the influences here. I wonder if I'll be able to feel Yost's presence as showrunner in the following episodes. If the worst case scenario is this feeling more like Justified, I'll be pleased as punch.

Bit confused at the massive amount of characters this show has and introduces new ones like every episode.They all feel like they're going to play a bigger role later on so they don't feel like throwaway characters. Plus they all have interesting things going for them.
I swear Heisenberg was never as scary as Vince. Jesus, this is Bryan Cranston at his most evilist. Such a incredible scene.

Well after finishing Episode 4 I'm hooked.
This show really does juggle a lot of balls. It didn't really hit me until Episode 4 that there were so many plot threads already. Marius alone has about 6-7 things going on and then each supporting character has their own thing. They just keep stacking the jenga blocks higher and higher. I really like the characters they've been introducing though. It reminds me a lot of Justified where even the small bad guys have personality.
Also, I didn't expect to get so much Cranston. I thought it was going to be like Bradley Cooper in Limitless but nope, Cranston is very prominent.
Was this show supposed to be on FX or something? Everybody and their mother from that network has been showing up in this. And the line in Episode 4

The show promo image is such a turn offfor for me whenever I see it, that I never watch it. The same thing happened with Rectify. Glad I gave that one a chance though.
Well, Graham Yost (Justified) is the showrunner -- although at least Martindale was there before him I think. Pretty fun show so far.

Agreed, the key art is somehow really off-putting.
Still, I enjoyed the pilot and I'm looking forward to watching more in the coming days. I had completely forgotten that Margo Martindale was in it!

Cranston killed it in episode 4. Wow. Really great to see him go full villain again.

The posters for it make it look like some crappy cheap show. I think they need to make Bryan Cranstons involvement more prominent, he is the co-creator afterall .

So is Cranston a regular or recurring?
Not listed as a regular but I'm 3/4 through and he has been in every episodes so far, with a good amount of screen time in most of them.

They really cheaped out on the promo materials and the opening credits. Rest of the show is aces, but the marketing looks like it was thrown together in 20 minutes

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I thought he was really miscast in this. He was probably the weakest "main character" in the show for me.
He's good at comedy and being the guy that all the shitty situations happen to. If he was younger, the main character would have been good for him.

Martindale is a national treasure at this point. We need to clone her and Viola Davis to keep the acting pedigree strong.

Like you can tell Big Richard didn't want to cut off Eddie's toe and genuinely felt bad about it afterwards. And usually I roll my eyes at CABLE MOB STORYLINE but Vince's casino stuff is kinda reeling me in. Him trying to flush out the cheat is a nice break from him putting pressure on Marius. Gives his character something to do and rounds him out a bit.

Just finished the series. Probably the fastest I have ever binged a show.
Amazing. I enjoyed every episode. Kept me hooked until the very last moment. Recommending it to my friends and family. Shame it doesn't seem to be getting the proper marketing it deserves. Has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

There are ads for it all over Reddit and I was downloading Amazon Prime on my PS4 and decided to check out Crunchyroll, the first video i played on there had an ad for Sneaky Pete in the beginning. Also seeing banner ads for it on YouTube. Looks like they're making a push, but it's not really working. Compare this thread to the series of unfortunate events thread, both came out the same time.

Just watched the first two episodes of this. This is pretty good already. I hope this gets the attention it deserves. I feel like Bryan Cranston being in this project should have been advertised more.

Saving the finale for later tonight after I get some work done. But I did watch Episode 9 earlier...HOLY SHIT. That's how you build up to a season finale. My nerves were wrecked.

Why does the app on my KS8000 say this is only in 1080p?

Just finished the show, it was amazing, am recommending it to everyone I know.
At the end can't wait to see what happens now that these "new" New Yorkers think that Marius is Pete. Excited for season 2!
Other than The Grand Tour, one of the shows I've been most excited for on Amazon.
Reminded me of some of the more tense moments from Breaking Bad. So excited to watch the finale when i get some time.

Just okay overall for myself. I don't regret the time spent with it but I'm not going to remember anything about it in a few months.
Felt like they started out with a film script and then padded it out to ten episodes. They could have easily cut four or five episodes and it would have been more compelling.
Martha's normal geordie accent is really weird (sounds sooo fake), wonder if the time she's spent the the states has changed it or if it's always been like that pet.

Really liked the season overall. Probably the best Amazon has made. I do have some gripes with the way it ended, but overall can't wait for the second season.
Also, looking back at the whole season, the first episode stands out a lot. I got a completely different show than what i expected with the first episode. I would probably say it's the weakest episode of the season too. I though it was gonna be bad guy of the week type show, but not only do the characters from the pilot never come back, but I don't think they ever chase a bounty again too.
