ME:A disagrees.
X-rays? Do you mean the MK:X ones? Because if so that was running on an insanely modified UE3 engine (also that was netherealm)
Hmmm, I think Horizon's engine (Decima I think) is the best I've seen. The things that engine can pull off is amazing.
Nah, when you know what to do with it it's an incredible engine.
Inquisition turned out great.

??? We have zero examples of Fox Engine competing at the levels that Frostbite has been atThat's a weird way to spell Fox Engine.
Whatever breath of the wild is running on for me.
Fox engine is no where close to Frostbite lol.
It's certainly lying beautiful.
Anthem and Battlefield look superb.

And CD Projekt red's engine.
Personal opinion from what I've played.Everyone's shitting on the FOX but there is no way Zelda's engine can compare.
Probably not nearly as much as what Frostbite has to offer. Decima is severely restricted to one platform and a console at that. We've yet to see what Decima's fully capable of.
Did you actually read the in depth article about the struggles Bioware faced having to use that engine? It sounds like a nightmare.
Seeing how it screwed over Mass Effect (and gave Dragon Age a hard time), I'mma go with no.

My fox engine exposure comes solely from PES.
Which is why it makes zero sense that anyone says it's a great Engine when we've never actually seen it put to the test or Proven. It just had one game that was cross gen and barren in the AAA space. It has never been shown to be a competitive Engine compared to what we've seen from the current heavy hittersWell to be fair only one game got to use it and it was a cross gen game.
It's capable of looking pretty but gameplay so far on most titles has been very lacking.

HZD looks insane and it's running on my OG PS4.
Frostbite is the best performing multi-platform engine in the right hands.
Unreal Engine 4 console optimisation is nowhere near as good as Frostbite magic on console
The way it can achieve such visuals at 60fps on that CPU with lots of things going on at once is great
I came to say the same thing. It's the only engine that is operating full steam with all the physics(all the elements, true day night weather cycle that physically change things (water form puddles), gravity, magnetic fields), and on mobile hardware to boot. Imagine that on Scorpio....what?
