Don't care for coffee. I lack that gene or whatever that make sauerkraut taste good so I dunno if that has anything to do with coffee.
Something like this.
I'm sorry for your loss.

You need a coffee enemaI dream of a future when coffee will replace blood and I can just pump a gallon or two of coffee right into my veins.
If I could I'd have coffee streaming through my veins instead of blood
have you tried like attempting to crawl out of the rock you live under
my parents didn't have it in the house isn't really an excuse past 15
theres a whole world out there go explore it
I love it when I say I've never done a thing and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. Like in the coffee shop. lol
Life is good.
It's okay. I have a friend who refuses to try anything new. He's been eating and drinking the same 2-3 items for the past 20 years.I love it when I say I've never done a thing and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. Like in the coffee shop. lol

wotDo not worry Original Poster, I've never dronk more than 3 cups of coffee in my life, from various sips and dashes. It is highly unagreeable to the tongue despite the opposite being true for the nose.
Second time in this thread
Acquired more than one drinkI post all the time about how I only drink water. I went on a date today (it didn't go well) on which I tried coffee for the first time. It started off terrible, but was eventually tolerable by the time I was finished with it. It took me about two hours to drink one cup of it. I didn't really enjoy it, didn't feel any of the effects of the caffeine, and probably won't do it again anytime soon. People say it's an acquired taste but I really can't find any redeeming qualities. I put creamer and lots of sugar in it but it didn't really help.
goodbye coffee
Obviously your taste buds are not functioning correctly.I've always secretly thought people were lying when they say they like coffee or beer. Both taste horrible to me, and I've tried many varieties of both. I can't tell the difference between "good" beer and cheap swill. It all just tastes like the same bitter mess.

wow you are like so super unorthodox in unexpected ways and also strangers that are vaguely in physical proximity clearly enjoy hearing you announce personal reflections to that effect with great frequency I am sure they completely admire your independent attitude and secretly want to be you but they can't get over how embarrassed they are to not be you already, because otherwise they would tell you. To your you you you face. YOU

Perhaps I must wait until I become older, I haven't had any this decade. Tea sounds better.
What compelled you to try a beverage you never had before instead of drinking something you might like? Furthermore, why the heck did you continue to nurse it for 2 hours and force yourelf to drink it despite not liking it?
Was it to impress this date? Just be yourself man.
Dan Ryckert's GAF account has been confirmed.
Coffee is a miracle of the universe. I pity anyone who doesn't like it.
Is this a "I tried alcohol for the first time" parody thread?
Bah, whatever. I mean, like what you like. I'm not a big tea fan myself, but shitloads of the world drinks it. The only thing I can suggest for you to is to maybe try different roasts and coffee final forms, see if there's one you like more than others.I love it when I say I've never done a thing and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. About 83 percent of adults drink coffee in the U.S., the world's biggest consumer of the beverage, up from 78 percent a year earlier, according to the National Coffee Association's 2013 online survey.
They're both related... bitter taste that's an acquired taste/"mature palette". Probably won't find many people who like straight black coffee and hate beer (and vice-versa).
I absolutely loved my first glass of wine, wasn't too fond of beer, but being a poor college student makes you warm to it soon enough. Coffee was a bit more of a struggle. Had my first coffee when I was eight thereabouts with cream and sugar and hated it. But there was something intriguing about people loving something so revolting so I kept at it. Now I drink it black, preferably so strong you have to cut it with a knife. If I don't drink six cups a morning I get a terrible headache. Start with Lattes, end with Italian espresso.
Come over to our side OP it's g-g-g-g-great. *teeth gnashing*
. But everyone will treat me like an alien over it anyway because me not liking something everyone else likes makes me a sheltered weirdo.
That's fine. I love having haters.
You're right, and it was a mistake. She was already judging me from the first moment![]()
Anyone know where to get really cheap k-cups online or in person in New York? I need to start putting my one-cup machine to use again, but I'm sick of the generic blends I've had.
Amazon or Costco?
Coffee is disgusting, though it does smell great.
Trying one coffee from one place is like playing farmville on Facebook and declaring that you hate videogames. You need to try more varieties from different roasters.

Even within a single roasting company you will find a wide variety of flavors. Don't give up!

Coffee is disgusting and not my cup of tea.
