So, when do you expect PS5 and the Xbox One successor tba? And what specs?

Guys... Think about this logically:

PS4 is doing great numbers, way ahead of PS3 in tracking and similar to PS2. They will not push out a new console unless Microsoft forces their hand.

Microsoft has yet to release the Scorpio, do you really think they plan to release new hardware two years after their mig gen upgrade? Plus it is not as if the One is struggling in sales either.

Next gen will not start this decade, sorry Nintendo fans.

Your argument contradicts itself. Sony was not forced to release the PS2 six years after the PSOne or six years after the PS2 came out. Both systems were selling very well at the time.

Next year will again be six years after launch and would gain the upper hand in the others. X would only be 2 "years old, same with Switch at 2.5 years.

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 Edition, Madden 2020, NBA2K20. Dualshock 5, bigger hard drive, 4K, better graphics.

Announced? Next year. Available? Not until 2020. Specs will be able to play any game at 4k60. 2 tb hardrive. Starting price will be 400.

At least 2x the performance of the X for both consoles. They will do 4K/60 but this is ultimately up to the developer. Will be min 2TB storage for sure. Will be announced next year for 2020 release. Price point in Australia will be $649 or $629 like the X is now which is stupidly expensive for this gen at this time.

Absolute bargains, both the PS2 & PS3 cost me over $1,000AU at launch. The PS3 console only the PS2 with 2 games.

I agree, both need to have at least double the X performance at a minimum, why we won't see a launch next year the gains will still be just to small.

Now that ssds are getting cheaper there's a possibility the PS5 will boost one. Or at the very least an SSHD to improve install and load times.

Things are getting really interesting.
