I found a big box copy of Z with the disc still in the shrink wrap. It even came with a nice hefty color manual. Nowadays you'd be lucky to get a scrap of B&W keyboard commands.

I had ALL the classics and then some. I had a well paid job and lived with my parents, so I bought everything, LOL. I find my old games scattered around my parents house every time I visit - and the rest (In the hundreds) is sadly gone...somewhere. But Wing Commander and The 7th Guest isn't too bad.....

The 7th guest box had a VHS tape inside BTW..

Dungeons was just released, and from what I understand is quite similar.

There's a spiritual successor released recently, not sure if it's any good- called "Dungeons"

I imagine the originals both play pretty well. I only tried #2 though.

This thread convinced me to go to my attic and search for some of my older stuff.

Good old Baldur's Gate II. I'm currently missing the manual, it must be somewhere.

Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. After having a blast with the original TA, i bought this hoping Cavedog still had the same magic. What a bummer

Dragon Lore. I tried hard to like it, but i never got very far. I also own Dragon Lore II, but i couldn't find it.

Defcon 5. My first big blunder, i learned the lesson the hard way: do not buy a game on impulse.

Some other stuff i couldn't find the boxes, but i'm pretty sure they're stored somewhere in the attic. Shattered Steel, Total Annihilation, Freespace 2 and The Dig.

Quake II and Doom II. I also had Quake I, but i lent it and never came back
