Sony Japan confirms there was unauthorized access issues with PSN so they reset passwords.
Be nice if all branches of Sony would be so upfront and not just oh we did it randomly for no reason in particular

Yeah, its weird. Only one of my accounts was PW reset, it wasn't my EU account either.I just read the kotaku article, what I want to know is why they're only doing this for some people if there really was suspicious activity.
I just got hit with this on my US account within the past couple of hours. JP account is unaffected.
No issues with DOB. I never lie on that stuff.
Had this issue today on PS4. Reset my password via PC and then attempted logging in again but I never put in my changed password on the ps4 yet it logged me in. Found it to be kind of odd.
was able to get through with live chat instead. here is the link to live chat support. keep refreshing until you are able to fill out form; should be good to go after that

I've been pressing F5 for about 10 mins.
So I have just bought a PS4 and I seem to be having this issue again? Telling me my password is incorrect. I again can't reset my password as it's telling me my DOB is incorrect. I've tried accessing my account details on my Vita and on the web, and again it's saying the same thing.
Anyone else? Help!
