This project has made the game far more playable, but 06 even at its potential best is still a very mediocre game. There's so many poor design choices, you'd be better off just making a new game instead.

Yeah, I really don't see the appeal of this at all (even though there are people that defend Sonic 06 as is). Maybe a mod based on 06 or something since they stopped using the Adventure formula after that game, but the number of changes needed to make 06 good would be huge. The most this remake will do is probably fix some of the glitches and maybe make the physics less awful.

Their effort is note worthy, but Sonic 06 overall design and appeal is all over the place. Just let it rest in peace...
