Why would anyone put down their real info along with their debit/credit card info on a home gaming console in the first place?
The only thing that you need, is your gamertag & to use pre-paid cards to either add more money onto a wallet, or to add more time to your PS+ &/or Xbox Live Gold subscription (or do it through sites like Amazon to get downloadable codes for them).

I'm not sure if it was related, but right around the time of the breach, somebody in France cleaned out $800 from my account. Thankfully it was seen as suspicious and the transactions were put on hold. My bank stepped up, and gave me an overdraw limit worth the $800 until it was solved, so I never really lost any money.

For some reason the CAPTCHA refuses to submit for me even though I'm entering it correctly. (Even though I got it correct by what I see in the image and hear through the audio.) And after 3 times it fails to submit you have to redo the whole application again.

The "Wallet Balance" claim is essentially giving people the option to cashout and close their account if they want.
It's very plainly labeled and warned of in bold, underlined writing.

Damn, my own fault for not reading it all. I sure hope I don't get any cash back, really don't want my PSN account I've had for years closed, that would suck. I honestly can't remember if I had any money in my wallet when the hack happened.
If I remember right, the credit card information were encrypted, so they couldn't be stolen. It was the addresses, names, accounts, etc that weren't.
Also, according to a post above, apparently $5 million out of it went to the lawyers...

Me because I was in a 360/PC mood around that time and never turned my PS3 on. There wasn't an online webstore back then so I couldn't redeem the games from my PC so I just never bothered.
