Not that surprised we didn't get a whole lot of new games announced. Moving forward it's likely that the PlayStation Experience will be used as their own show to announce new games.

Potentially use this show to switch to a cycle where they announce games closer to release.

Overall I was unimpressed with the show, only parts I really enjoyed were of games we already knew were coming. God of War looked great and Spider-man, although a bit heavy on QTE (that doesn't bother me as much as most), looked like a lot of fun.

It's pretty clear Sony's developers are so far ahead of Microsoft. All the games look fantastic.

Though I will say, despite the games looking awesome, there was nothing new other than Monster Hunter and some VR.

5/10 show tbh. Most of that was for Spidey, Detroit and GOW. SOTC looks good, and Uncharted was always a sure purchase for me.

The whole show just feel lacking in connection with me the audience though. It's the E3 equivalent of a teacher just sticking a documentary on in school class instead of teaching first hand.
