and oh yeah, this was the only conference stream where i had significant problems. switched from YouTube to twitch part way through because it kept buffering only to find twitch was struggling a lot too. barely saw much of some of the trailers as a result.
Also no Pro price drop unfortunately :/
No indie game segment, I'm legit salty! You failed me Sony!
When they say that everything is about the games then they better deliver better than this. PS5 must be close or Sony has truly lost it's edge right now. It was like they weren't even trying.
i hope it's not been cancelled. some of the footage they released on YouTube a while back looked really promising.Really not sure what to think of Dreams. I really am not sold on it at all as a game, and it continuously no-shows.
It would have been a lot better to do a live demo of Spiderman.
e3 was never goodhey remember when e3 was good
Was it? Ads shown at the start then 2 trailers for DLC, long demo for Days Gone which had 2 showings in Sony's conference dedicated to it last E3, large VR segment that was introduced with Skyrim...already got skyrim TWICE in two difference conferences before this it set up it for a boring segment great for those already interested in VR(Moss was cool).
Monster Hunter World then Shadow of Colossus (remake, remaster?) both looked good and were interesting, Marvel Vs Capom Infinite then Call Of Duty...boring. God of War trailer looked really good but we already got a lengthy 10 minute look at it last E3 a flat feeling Destiny 2 trailer, a WAY too long Detroit trailer with a protagonist that didn't seem interesting at all compared to last years, then a heavy scripted QTA Spider man Demo.
Sadly this gen indies are passé for Sony and MS.
Downloadables are getting the shaft as far as press conferences are concerned.
I don't think it was unreasonable to have expected new footage/release date for FFVII.

I mean.... they dont have to now.
I feel like the people saw a different MS conference than me.
This one was very disappointing, and the MS one was great.
#makeconferencesgreatagainhey remember when e3 was good
I keep trying to tell you all, memory prices are putting price drops on hold this year. Memory is WAY up.Why would they? They're perfectly competitive against a $499 Xbox One X
I will give them BC, but there wasn't a lot of great gameplay at MS's press conf, it was so fucking boring with an endless stream of multi platform indies 95% of the time.
The "amazing" 5% was third party multi platform games.
Not saying Sony's was amazing, it wasn't, but MS's press conf was really rock bottom, add to that Scorpio's price and I can't understand how can anyone think it was superior.
Erm...MS was like 75% indies lol. What?Sadly this gen indies are passé for Sony and MS.
Downloadables are getting the shaft as far as press conferences are concerned.

That doesn't make the conference any less interesting. As someone who owns a PS4 and not an Xbox, I fully believe that MS's conference was better. We saw a ton of new stuff there regardless of where you can play it.
Name me 1 exclusive they announced for Xbox One that's not also on PC. Also none of the timed onesI feel like the people saw a different MS conference than me.

Today Sony's conference is the reason why these companies should stop doing this live event things at E3 and instead prepare something just like Nintendo is now doing. Everybody hating on Nintendo because they ditched the conference, meanwhile the Nintendo Direct and the Treehouse are being the best thing they've done at E3 since forever. Heck, The Treehouse alone is like the best thing at E3.
Yea, the trailers were good. Yea, it was awesome that they kept it game related and didn't bore us with talk. I;m not talking about what the showed, I am very satisfied with what they showed. Still, today's "conference" didn't need to be a Live conference. It could've very well be a digital showcase instead.
They showed some surprises like DBZ despite it being multiplat. It doesn't matter if you show exclusive. If you can energize your conference then that's good for me.
