This might be an unpopular opinion, but years ago as a PS Vita owner, I had played Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Fight for Fortune and had fun with both games, despite them not really being fully realized experiences. Don't get me wrong, it was really cool being able to play a game like Uncharted on a handheld back in 2012 but anyone who has played through the entire PS3 trilogy could feel the handheld outing wasn't quite on the same level. It's possible a "Golden Abyss 2" could have been more jaw-dropping if only Sony didn't step away from supporting the PS Vita.
Still, they were fun diversions and Uncharted: Fight for Fortune in particular was a neat little idea which I think Sony should revisit by using one of their first-party IPs. A digital collectible card game might be a niche genre but I feel there's a lot of potential for characters crossing over from different first-party IPs, whether the game is developed by Sony, Nintendo, or SEGA, publishers with lots of unique game characters. What do you think?
