I have BB-8 which is a ton of fun, definitely going to pick up R2-D2. Assuming that isn't impossible... which it will be!

EDIT: Just realized they finally answered my one complaint with BB-9; R2-D2 has an integrated speaker. Hooray for being bigger!

$180 for R2 isn't too bad considering the size and abilities. I'm just shuddering to think what a C3PO may cost if it gets made considering the size it's made in relative scale.

I forgot where, but I saw that the Sphero BB8 was on sale, 2 for 50$ lol. I remember when it came out at $150..

The regular BB-8 was a great Christmas gift I got.

Played with it a couple of times, and then returned it to Bed Bath and Beyond and got $150 of useful kitchen goods. :D

There were Imperial R2s in the OT. We just didn't see them do anything evil, or really anything at all.

One of them actually moved in a deleted scene. Yay?

I mean you already just know the merch is going to make a lot of money.

But when you see stuff like this. It just becomes more real. They are about to make a shit ton of money these last 3 months of the year. God damn.

Tomorrow is Force Friday 2, so between now and the end of Friday we're going to get a ton of new merch announcements, and maybe even some new footage.

Oh, knew that was coming up, didn't realize it was tomorrow. I'm out of the SW merch loop, but I will definitely be trying for an R2-D2.

Got BB-8 around the time it launched. It's a fun little piece of tech, but I can't remember the last time I even used it. R2 is kinda tempting though...

I hate that the video makes you think these things can detect edges of tables and stop...

Or that the BB ones can drop off a table without the headpiece flying across the floor.
