I thought the PS4 Pro was $350?
No, it's $400. I would get a $400 Pro over a $300 Amateur PS4, but not over a $200 Amateur PS4 w/a really good game. I'm not that technically demanding any more.

Wonder if they'll match 2017s Black Friday(which was the best in PlayStation history).
PS4 sales have been down YOY so it's tough to say, probably will depend on how many units they produced(since they sold out last BF also IIRC).
at least 8Do you remember how many PS4s sold last Black Friday?
This why the $199 price point is so important. In the past, getting systems to that price point was critical because it opened the door to an entire new audience.
Now that you put it that wayIts like buying a $150 console with a $50 game. Absolute great value.

Yup, Sony just strapped PS4 sales to a rocket. Frankly I'm not sure how Sony is pulling this off given the MSRP of a Slim is still $299. It's good to see them being this aggressive even with their massive lead in the market.
If you want a PRO there's one with a good game, but it's selling out pretty quickly everytime it's in stock, GameStop just reintroduced it and it should be gone pretty quickly...(RDR2+PRO) for $399.99....No, it's $400. No we're not 100% sure about that.OMG! So we are about 100% sure that Sony will sell 100 million PS4s by the end of the fiscal year (March 31, 2019). Aren't they are 86 million sold as of September?
Sony must be making so much freaking profit from the OG PS4 at $299 though. Like pure cut cocaine style profit.

That won't happen. They recently increased their forecast from 16m to 17m for the fiscal year. Which is still down YOY. They'll likely end up somewhere around 96m shipped at the end of the fiscal year(March 31, 2019).
In order to get to 100m at the end of the fiscal year they'd need to sell 21m units for the fiscal year(and be up YOY by 2m). Can't see that happening...
I guess there's something to be said for lowering expectations and obliterating all expectations, but you don't want to leave potential sales on the table either, by undershipping.....You should get every last potential sale for the holidays........Holidays is about stuffing the channels...Man......that would be tough to reach. But Sony is constantly under bidding when it comes to their projections though.
My Black Friday sales prediction:
- 1st place: Sony and its $200 PS4 + Spiderman;
- 2nd place Nintendo and its $300 Switch + Wii U game;
- 3rd place $400 XboxX with no game;
This is a thread about a PS4 bundle selling out, not about Microsoft. Stop rustling each other's jimmies.
I wish i had the mental strength to sit out an entire generation so i can be "behind" one generation and for the rest of my life get literally everything gaming cheaper lolI guess it's just my mindset as a more "hardcore gamer", but it always surprises me the people who wait to buy a console so close to the end of the generation.

Stop being petty dude. Lighten up a bit.I know you guys can't help yourselves always being in a state of competitiveness instead of just enjoying your PS4 so let me quote the mod,

Competition? Anyone?
