^- Not "skinny," definitely jacked.

But it takes a lot of work to look like that, and it's a little unfair to pressure.

I'd definitely call her skinny (she can't be much more than 15%BF), but she's healthy skinny. "Skinny" is too often used as a nasty word.

She's not that pretty to me, but that's not the weight it's just the way she looks and personal preference....

And just because she's a "plus" model Why is she always strapped into old lady underwear, slip her into a bikini like everyone else....those panties are not helping the ass dept, which from the photo posted could use some buffer.

Control-top panties. Gotta cover the gut.

(Even if she has godly distribution, she's still selling to those who don't)

I'm not too familiar with the physics but I'm guessing with a smaller bikini there might be some spill-over, which could kind of kill the appeal..

What I would like to know is... people often want plus sized women to have more representation. But why not women with plain or unconventional faces? Your face is something you generally can't control, unlike your weight. I'd like to see an ugly ripped dude on a mag cover.

magazine's first plus-size ad

In issue, Graham wears a black string bikini in an ad campaign for SwimsuitsForAll -- a company that famously recreated the cover of the Swimsuit Issue with all plus-size models last year .
Okay not exactly what I expected from the title.

I just wish we could stop with the airbrushing..the girl looks fine but the quality of the photo is ass

I don't know if I'd want a clear view of her stretch marks, pocks, cellulite, actual proportions, lack of curves, etc.

Eh, they're both curvy.

Ms. Graham could wear a pushup bra that pushes her boobs together like that, and better cut underwear, and I think she'd look at lot more like that picture you linked.

nah Ashley has way more meat on her than the girl in that pic, particularly in the thigh area.

I find it fascinating that we can have a thread that, ostensibly, celebrates having larger-than-average ideals of beauty in a swimsuit special, and still find ways to judge and compare her body to other standards of beauty.

Bravo!

She's a model. She earns a living being judged by her physical appearance.

and the backside is not even comparable. I feel awful for just sounding so unrespectful but hey, we're all talking about that

i find it funny how all these plus-size models trying to represent fat people have all their fats in the right places.

seriously.

it's like, "yeah we're big but we don't have an obese amount of belly fat nor do we have double chins and oh look how well-endowed our breasts and hips are but everywhere else aren't about to explode."

Some of these Instagram pics Sean is posting are smoking hot. That's my contribution to this thread! She's got a little extra but it doesn't bother me one bit.

Preferred plus-sizes:

Laura Wells.

Ashley Graham has a stunning face but the body's a bit much for me. ^ These girls are built like my girlfriend so I might be biased. <3

Looks fine. I'd smash, although I prefer (and married) more-fit ladies.

But sure, I like my women to have some meat. But they have got to have an ass. GOTS TO HAVE AN ASS. I can't deal with a pancake booty

She's not my type, but good for her.

Is the plus size thing exclusively female though? You never see chunkier men celebrated.

She needs to lose some weight imo.

Risky move by the magazine though. I guess they are trying to expand their market and target more customers that can associate with their marketing tactics.

I never really thought about it but you're right. I don't recall ever actually seeing a professional plus sized male model in my entire life.

Edit - Though I'm sure they exist I just have never seen one in any magazine or anything
