Even though they should've never started development of this shit in the first place

Whoa, Square learning from it's mistakes and acting upon them?

Is this real life? Will they put more than 3 people to work on Versus now?

Perhaps it was self evident.

Regardless, it's smart of them to do that, it's unlike a game developer not to throw good money after bad after spending some even though they only stood to lose even more money by getting it out there.
 
Best financial decision they've made in a while. Though it cancels it's self out by actually choosing to make the game in the first place.

Sorry all not trying to be overly negative, but this game looked bad. Real bad!

Except for the Dragon Quest series, Tactics Ogre, Nier, TWEWY... Square-Enix has made several big mistakes this generation but don't let the general hatred towards FF XIII and XIV blind you to the things they get right.

Anyway, I'm happy to see that Square-Enix has realized that releasing sub-par games with no marketing to low sales is not a great idea, even if it was a little late. I hope they keep this in mind for the future.

I remember Tactics Ogre, Nier and TWEWY not selling too hot.
 
I am not the least bit surprised. This game looked god-awful. That art.....HOLY SHIT......burned my eyeballs outta my skull.

Yeah, but they are always good for something too, we all know a ho, so they are common in games too, LOL. Besides, just look at that expression, would you say no to that? Or quietly, double ply the protection, go to town and never admit a word of it to your buddies.... I think you'd pick the second one....

You know, this actually leads me to believe that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be getting a multiformat release now. Not just because of the cancellation of Gun Loco, but also because of the amount of money Square-Enix *thinks* they can recoup due to Japan's disaster. I don't know how much more they made by having Final Fantasy XIII multiplat, but if it was enough to persuade Wada, and Nomura says that a porting decision is not his decision, well...

still buying it on PS3, though

Yoichi Wada needs to be fired.
 
I would have preferred this over MindJack honestly.
This is something so bad and batshit I can pick it up for cheap and laugh at it for an hour or few before never touching it again.
MindJack looked dull as fuck outside of cyber gorillas.

And Supreme Commander 2. Seriously, what the fuck was Chris Taylor thinking when he sold the IP to SQUEENIX?
 
Aw I would have loved to see how awful it was. Could be one of those games you play just to laugh at how redonk it is.
