I agree. Star Wolf team and Peppy look perfect. Fox, Katt, Slippy and poor Falco got hit with the ugly stick. But it kind of works in a "UE5 remake/Nintendo hire this man" kinda way.

I never was in to Star Fox, but the video was pretty nice, met my expectations for a Switch 2 game.

I think people are underestimating this. Feels like a halfway between a we've gone too far FF7 Remake and a standard remake with better visuals. With them adding all new scenes between every level, and who knows how many easter eggs or new lore pieces will surface from all that.

Definitely looks like its in the running for best remake I've seen in a while, and I wish some classic beloved Fire Emblem game would get remade with this level of love.

First of all, Nate never fucking misses.

I'm very excited for this, it looks really good, the fact it comes out in a month and a half is amazing. We'll prob see more, I'm not an online person, but I am hoping for an online mode which they didn't talk about.

What this means however, that we are getting an OOT remake this year. and if these visuals are telling, it'll look glorious.

Game mostly looks gorgeous, but a few of the oddly realistic anthropomorphic animal designs are nightmare fuel, I'm not gonna lie.

Edit: Oh wow, only $50 digitally. That's honestly the perfect price for what's ultimately a remake of a relatively short game. I figured Nintendo would charge full price ($60 digital / $70 physical) though. Good to see Splatoon Raiders wasn't an outlier.

I absolutely love how they just make them look like the real version of the animal, standing upright, with fake ass robot legs.

The aesthetic is so damn good, no matter how hilarious it looks.

This art style will be even more epic if they just start throwing real ass humans into the games too.

Star Fox 64 is a defining game of my childhood so I am naturally very excited, it looks fabulous and honestly looks like the first Nintendo produced Switch 2 game that didn't start as a Switch 1 game, they're using the hardware here. And online dogfights looks really fun too!

LETS FUCKING GOOOO!!! STARFOX!!!!

Ewww... what did they do my boys? I know the intention: replicate the SNES OG StarFox, but thats not the more popular one. SF64 didnt have that 'realism', so why not go with that or just the Smash bros style?

And, and this is a big one, why do we have the so call 'millenial writing'? Didnt they get the memo from Metroid Prime 4?

From the few cutscenes we could see I got worried by the scene where Fox meets Coronel Peppers and he is like 'Why so nervous? Did the monkey steal you toy? I just so happen to be around and wanted to say hi'.

Or when they enter Corneria and they changed the line of Falco from "This is horrible" to "Wow, they really trashed the place!" on a almost mockingly tone, rather than the grim one of the original.

Or Sipply having an autism attack of "Did you know that CRT actually draw lines but your eyes actually pair the recent line with the last one making a full picture?!" and everyone just ignore him because he is the geeky archetype of millenial writing.

I do admit that the Prologue scene, looked really nice in comparison, but I feel like they will just screw the Fox team. I hope Im wrong, but there are some warnings on my opinion.

Still, kind of sad. I should be jumping and doing everything I can to get an Switch 2, but beating SF64 again and the heavy prices and scammy practices of Nintendo just make me said 'I pass'.

Makes me fear for the OOT remake. That game was full of cute chicks and they deserve better than what they've done to Katt here lol.

They will further ruin Gerudo and ruin Malon and the Bombchu girl.

I am expecting them to somehow turn Ocarina of Time into BotW3.

I am hopeful for the Kena sequel.
