It's a open beta? Sweet, I do want to try it even though I'm not a fan of Star Wars.
Nice, I'm off that Friday and Monday so barring any beta issues it should be a nice long weekend of...
Omg
Also, will the single player survival mission still be playable when the beta ends or does that require a connection too?
Nice, leaning on XBO unless it's less than 900p or a blurfest like BO3. Will get it on PC if so.
Its from Dice sweden, its 60fps and big scale. I expect 720p sadly for the XboxOne version.
Improved SDK + engine refinement + smaller maps and 40 players = hope. Its from Dice sweden, its 60fps and big scale. I expect 720p sadly for the XboxOne version.
2 days after MGO...I'm going to have a hard time deciding which one I want to play!

Hardline is pretty much a BF4 expansion, they didn't have to open up the hood of the engine like they would have to when making a new game from scratch.Hardline used a newer Version of Frostbite and was still 720p
Or 800p...still 720p is more than likely unless they have some tricks up their sleeves. Its from Dice sweden, its 60fps and big scale. I expect 720p sadly for the XboxOne version.
Not for my connection that still takes like 4 hours sadly :/Uhm 7GB is not big. Its very small.
No preload on consoles.
cool! I'll be sure to try it. I hope the controls don't feel too loose and floaty. I want a return to the weightiness of Bad Company 2.
Considering all the PS4 footage has been 900p, I assume you're getting the PC version.Nice, leaning on XBO unless it's less than 900p or a blurfest like BO3. Will get it on PC if so.
What if XBO matches PS4 resolution?Considering all the PS4 footage has been 900p, I assume you're getting the PC version.

Then there will be concessions in other areas. DICE seems to value fidelity and framerate over resolution so I doubt they'll compromise effects. What if XBO matches PS4 resolution?
Can't wait to be disappointed. No server browser pfft.
DICE is the only company that makes competitve MP games I play for substantial amounts of time. Really looking forward to this. Seems like a perfect pick up and play game with friends. Can't wait to try it out.
Can Battlefront steal my multiplayer time away from BF4 this gen? BF4 is the one I keep going back to. Stay tuned!
I'll eat my shoe if that happens.=pWhat if XBO matches PS4 resolution?
As someone who bought BF4 and Premium day 1, I won't be putting money down on this unless the beta works really well.Strong confident move. I am sure there are a lot of ppl like me that wouldn't have even considered it without playing the beta first.
I expect problems with the beta knowing DICE.=pAs someone who bought BF4 and Premium day 1, I won't be putting money down on this unless the beta works really well.

They should be, I don't see why not. Hope we get info on that as well.Do we know if heroes will be playable in the open beta?
Me too but I know what's likely to make it into the final game (crashes) versus what's likely beta issues (connection issues).I expect problems with the beta knowing DICE.=p
I am actually hoping for a dynamic resolution. I really like the idea of locking the framerate and scaling the resolution around the action as long as it isn't super jarring. Honestly I would even be fine with 720p as long as they use a better AA method than what the Battlefield games used. 720p on its own isn't that bad, but combine it with a poor FXAA and you get the blur that everyone complains about. Then there will be concessions in other areas. It may wind up with dynamic res or something but I think it's safe to say there won't be parity in this game.
Cant wait to see how the Xbone version is going to look and run.
