Nien Nunb is going to become meme tier by the end of this I swear.

DICE really needed a big showing with their first DLC considering all the complaints the game has going its way and this is not what I would call impressive.

Nien Nunb has always been one of my greatest heroes from the star wars universe

I think it's only a matter of time until they'll have to implement characters from the prequels, there's barely anyone left to add for the dark side. I guess if they added prequel stuff they could have Maul, Jango, evil Anakin...

Nah, they only said there's going to be "4 more heroes and villains for you to fight as or against." They can fill that out easily with the Bounty Hunters. Also, was it ever clarified if that was 4 total, or 4 of each?

Do we we still get such comments in every topic about this game?

Yes the game is still alive and rocking.

Its really not, I couldn't find a game of turning point the other day on PS4.

Interested to see when they'll be halving the season pass price, good luck keeping a player base with that price.

Exactly. Pure laziness, no other plausible reason why the monkey is in ahead of Chewie.

I mean, I don't agree with their inclusion, but saving Chewie for the Bespin or Death Star packs makes more sense.

This is too hilarious. Did EA not get the rights to the prequels for this game?

They've stated time and time again that they're sticking with OT only, and that was a deliberate design choice.

I've never not found a full TP game on PS4, even at 2 in the morning on the west coast.

I find that extremely hard to believe. I haven't had anything but full games since XMas.

I like how the two new hero/villains they added are pretty much special versions of the masks you can already unlock.

Gotta minimize those art requests I guess.

Now I find that hard to believe, when I could get matches they weren't always full.

Yup it's really a cheap move.

They have the prequels, sequels and series in other (mobile) games.

I think the decision was to make this game "A Celebration" of the original...meaning they didn't want to create separate models for droids.

Holy shit Nien Nunb! I'm going to like buy 3 copies of the game and dlc! I fucking love that guy. When I was a kid, I would always draw him, and when teachers asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would tell them 'I want to be Nien Nunb, he's a Star Wars!'. Unfortunately they don't make shirts of him so when I got to middle school I would go to those stands at the mall and have them make me Nien Nunb shirts. When Napoleon Dynamite came out, I jumped on the train and made a 'Vote for Nien Nunb' shirt.

So hype.

I don't mind Greedo. It really is slim pickings when it comes to villains on what DICE can and can't use. Nien Nunb on the other hand is just lol.

Seems like Lando/Bask or IG-88 will be the set for Bespin DLC, Obiwan/Tarkin for Death Star DLC, and Chewbacca/???? for unknown location DLC. Or they can scrape even lower bottom of barrel for villains like Hammerhead or other cantina residents lol. Should have had Rebels cross over and they could have used Inquisitors.

Bingo, both of these chaaracter models are already in the game. I'm pretty let down to be honest that they decided 'hey let's just pick two guys we have models for' rather than picking anyone people would actually be asking for.

Which is doubly worse because this is PAID FOR DLC. They already have money from Season Passes and Ultimate Editions, and are petitioning for more, and they lazily modify already existing models because it's cheaper. Outrageous instead of Chewie or Ben. You're not gonna get more sales from advertising Nien Nunp you stupid cheap suits, and more importantly you owe that people that dropped hard cash on DLC some real heroes.

I just... it all comes back to why EA are so hated. This is just wrong.

I kinda like the pics. Chewie and Lando are probably coming with other packs, and using other species and less-known characters is cool.
Plus, I'm sure they had the models done for the game already, making it easier.

Disney would very much like you to kindly forget the prequels happened. Likely any deal they inked with EA was for producing OT content or later.

This narrative doesn't really fit when Lucasfilm have been releasing prequel content since they were bought by Disney.

I'd be very surprised if there's no prequel content in the next Battlefront.

Disney has separated mobile from console licensing. EA only has licensing for the OT and surrounding time (basically the entire GCW, so Rogue One through the Battle of Jakku) to make games.

I don't care about the heroes. Rarely ever use them in Supremacy and they aren't available in Turning Point. Excited for the new maps, weapons, and Star Cards though. Same amount of content as each BF4 DLC pack. If the new mode is a 40 player mode I'll play it, not really a fan of the smaller modes.

I won't be, the next Battlefront is likely 2 years out, at least. By that time, Episode VIII will be out (in fact, I'd be willing to be BF2 launches alongside VIII like this one did with VII). So chances are the next BF will focus on the new movies.

EA has all Star Wars eras.
They just dont want to include ST and PT stuff in Battlefront.

I don't even own Battlefront anymore, nor am I a fan of the prequels, but what a dumb move if true. Is there anyone out there who prefers this bottom of the barrel DLC (more Sullust, more Tattooine, and laughable heroes) to brand new planets and characters?

I think it'll have TFA content as well. But by that point they're not going to be bringing out content for VIII when it's likely Battlefront 2 will come out before VIII. They need something else to fill that space.

Probably chose OT because they're classics that invoke major nostalgia, they had access to all the props and it ties in a lot better to TFA. I won't be surprised if prequel content is in the base game of Battlefront II or later added as DLC.
