picross doesnt use it but some games do, mostly for menu navigation (mario kart, puyo puyo tetris for example)
i wouldnt expect any in this game

There are games that use it. Pan-pan, for example, has both touch and button interface.

It's getting easier and easier to recommend a switch. I am a huge vita fan but the switch is just handheld perfection. Clickable analogs, proper shoulder buttons, all the stuff that the vita lacked. I look forward to a left joycon with an actual d pad though.

Ever since Stardew Valley first came out I've been patiently waiting for a handheld version even though I've been dying to play it.

Harvest Moon for the Gameboy (the first one I think) was one of my favorite games for that system and I don't think I've played another farming game since (I tried that actiony one on the DS, but something about the controls for farming didn't work for me).

I was waiting for a vita port damn.. Its perfect on the go. Hmmm maybe need to get a switch.

Just over 6 months and the Switch has pretty much fully replaced my Vita as my indie machine.

Not very. I think it's the perfect platform for this game AND the Switch is fantastic, so you know you'll end up with other stuff down the road.
