Too much fog, there must be loads of pop in.
Quite possibly

Tho it being volumetric adds tons in terms of atmosphere

I've watched this. Looks awesome.

Animations are so much better than previous Bethesda efforts

Hopefuly there will be more explorable areas, 'cause all we've seen of Neon so far was this exact place

Ooh nice. Anyone know the location/planet?

…and Starfield is an actual Role Playing Game with a robust character creator, deep
character customization, lots of dialog options, 'realistic' NASA Punk spaceflight

All this isn't immersive because of a few one second fade-to-black transitions?

Good thing you're not tied to one planet, eh? Skyrim sized tiles on hundreds of planets, with multiple tiles per planet just a fast travel and landing away…

That's exactly how it is in the game. They've stated over and over that handcrafted content will be added to procedurally generated planets and so you'll stumble on random stuff.
..as long as I stick to the planets and points they have predetermined? They pushed exploration of "over a thousand planets" and if these things are true, exploration is going to be limited to points of interest spots. If that is the case, why even allow users to land anywhere else if it will be nothing but sand/rocks? As a consumer, I am allowed to be disappointed.

No @owandeseis, nobody is asking for earth sized and detailed planets. Or at least I am not. I am disappointed that all of the talk about exploring planets seems to be very limited. I was at least hoping I could wander upon a random outpost or something. I hope it is all a misunderstanding and I will be pleasantly surprised next week.
Why cut off the last line of my quote? That kind of changes the perspective a bit.

This. Also, his point would be somewhat valid if people were discussing things like story, quests, and dialogues -- subjective stuff -- without experiencing them entirely from start to finish.

This is entirely different as people are discussing things that (1) are not subjective and (2) can already be seen because other people have shared images and videos of that.
You've got Raven77 Raven77 liking your posts. Think on that.

Release day is gonna be a shitshow between some fans being "concerned" and the xdf marking everything as concern even with people who actually want to discuss the flaws of the game (because sure as hell starfield is not gonna be perfect in any way, shape or form like most games on the market)

Boy i don't envy the mods...
I don't think I'll be posting too much content once the game releases.

Can't wait until someone cries about hitting a out of bounds wall in outer space. Maybe the devs could be cute and have a black hole suck you up and cause a game over.

This is Sarah Morgan in the game, right?

starfield-onstellation-Sarah.jpg

Why does she look so different in the helmet? Her eyes are all weird (like she is having an orgasm), and I could also see her mustache in the helmet.

Or is that a different character altogether and I'm confusing it with her?
I can't tell whether this chick is 25 or 55 😂

A look at a city

That's why i can't understand all the concerns, they made their biggest game so far, and if games like FO3 and 4 had so much to explore then you think that they made a empty game without nothing for you to find? really? like the best aspect of those games and with their biggest one you worry?
Don't worry it's going to be a once in a life journey.

Ok, I've read enough of the leaks.

This sounds like Fallout 4 but in space, NOT Skyrim/Oblivion/FO3 in space.

There are also a few things missing you would expect that are in their prior titles. Namely looting, you cannot loot their bodies for what they have on them, it's all RNG. You (apparently) can not dive into the water. You can't strip people naked and (this one is unclear) but it doesn't sound like you can even enter stealth without investing in the perk.

It still sounds and looks great and I'm excited to play it, but it seems to be more of an Action RPG, than an actual RPG. Decisions don't seem to matter that much, like FO4.

I'm actually glad I know this going into it and I would recommend setting your expectations as such.

Actually looks amazing. Although like the poster above I'm disappointed they'd didn't go with the classic Bethesda loot system, and NPCs you can interact with are supposedly really rare in the game. That annoys me far more than loading screens and map tiles...

I want a whole game in that style and I'll be spending alot of time there in Starfield.

I agree complaining about the loading screens, that are literally 1 or 2 seconds is ridiculous.

The NPC thing is disappointing (if accurate)

With the tiles, I think could be more of an issue than people think. The guy on reddit (recently) mentioned exploring a location casually and hitting them a few times. We've heard 40 mins (walking) and we've seen 10 mins (running), it's hard to come to a conclusion, when playing it's usually a mix of both. We'll find out soon, it could end up being a non issue and I wouldn't be surprised.

what the you can interacts with EVERY NPC in TOTK

Unwise for anyone to read patch notes for an unreleased game they're eagerly anticipating

And why would you? You'll learn about bugs from playing the game or reading reviews and then you can check back later to see what was already fixed.

The guys at DF said they were left seriously impressed in their new video. That had a private showing at Gamescom, ran smooth and graphics and materials were standout.

But you still want to fuck her , right? I would!

Fuck me this looks amazing....not long now.

This game is going to be it...I know it is.. I can feel it in my plums.

You've never been able to speak to every npc in a Bethesda game, or rpgs in general.

I feel like we have definitely reached a point where people are trying their upmost to be upset with this game.

Indeed, can't talk to every NPC? no good.
Can't fly like in NMS? disaster.
The 1000 other things you can do in Starfield but can't on other games? meh.

There will be some amazing crafts i think, a bit reminds me of how players built some cool things in Fallout 4.

Now I'm really excited. Is this pc or xsx?

The invisible wall is a shame but I think in the long run it's less of an issue...
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have complete freedom on the planet with ground vehicles, ability to fly in atmosphere, around the planet and of course in and out of atmosphere to space with complete control and freedom...
But I think that novelty would wear off quickly where you just want to get to you destination or POI.

I used to play a lot of Elite Dangerous, but what made me stop was the boredom of using the jump drive to the next system/planet, it would sometimes take too long. A few days ago I reinstalled ED and NMS, and yes it's still awesome for that seemless planet <> space <> planet. But I found myself quickly being like meh. The immersion is awesome, but perhaps the Starfield way moves things along quicker from a gameplay perspective... idk, guess I'll find out in a few days.
We will definitely find out how much the boundaries matter in a few days.

For now I think some feel betrayed a bit by selling what sounded as if it were complete freedom on a crazy # of planets.

Honestly, I doubt I want to wander through mostly empty planets over and over anyway. "Oh, look, a rock. Oh, looks more… rocks". Zones which contain more of what is needed without needing to scour the planet for bits of scattered resources sounds a bit needless anyway. I'd get bored.

In any case, those looking for things to hate and complain abou will always find them. What good does that do. I will find what I enjoy until the enjoyment wears off and then move on. Hopefully, that's a good while.

Is this the console version? Looks pretty clean (or as clean as it can look on a monitor).

I got weak and looked up some of the leaked stuff and yeap, it's Skyrim in space alright :pie_sfwth:

3 more days !

Or people are trying their upmost to shore up their support for this game regardless of the negatives.

It's almost here. We'll know soon enough.

Nice!
Curious to see how my 3070ti goes and general PC stability. I'll primarly be on my XSX but will jump between XSX and PC when the home theater is occupied

From the Reddit Post looks like he was getting with these settings, 45-60Fps most times and 60-70fps in dungeons and space, at 1440p using a 3800X/2080Ti.
Said the performance was smooth and had no Stuttering btw.
