Starfield xbox series Gameplay leaked

People are saying that rushing the first run and enjoying the whole game in new game + is the way to go with this one.

Not sure if i'm gonna be able to do that, first run is always the most special and avoiding every sidecontent? Hard to even consider.

But all this chat about how the ng+ is something new and cool had me interested.

Hell i'm pretty sure that i'm never gonna do a second run, not even sure if i'm gonna finish the game once...
I wonder if that means because like you'll have the alien powers and good weapons right from the get-go

Huh? The gun combat looks great… that's something everyone seems to be praising.
Looks like garbage to me. There no weight to it and seems like your shooting p shooters. We've been spoiled with heavy hitting gun play from games like TLOU P2, Wolfenstein, Cyberpunk, Metro Exodus, RDR2 etc

Those games have weapons that make it seem like your tearing yor opponent apart and feel heavy.

I don't know why I expected her to say, 'Some people may call this junk. Me, I call them treasures." I just know I wouldn't have been sad if she did.

"They're masterworks all you can't go wrong"

wait, wrong franchise :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Combat looks fine to me. It looks a generational improvement over FO4 if nothing else.

That sounds like a terrible way to play. I don't see myself doing that at all.

NG+ is good for future plays with different styles but rushing through a huge game just to get to it to start 'enjoying' the game seems like a weird stance.

Nah fuck that. I didn't finish the main quest in Skyrim until my 3rd play through. As Brad Shoemaker once said, the best way to enjoy Bethesda RPGs is to look at the main quest marker on your compass and go the opposite direction. It's all the random stuff you encounter that make those games special.

I think there was a tweet/leak about NG+ having a cool twist.

That may be what it looks like to you, but you're wrong according to people who have actually played the game. Gunplay looks fantastic and has been compared to Destiny.

It's not Destiny level (and thats ok), it's more like FO4 but a bit better if anything. 3rd person combat is much better than FO4, mainly due to animations.

Congrats 👏 I might be getting a 4090 soon as well.

But
Id get a higher watt PSU...
Nice. Hoping I don't instantly regret this like when I got my 3090 when Cyberpunk came out.

The PSU is fine. A bit overblown when running these cards. FE, I currently have a 600w PSU w/ 3090, perfectly stable for the last 3 years. I'm actually thinking the 850w is overkill with the 4090 being more power efficient.

Let me play but it looks terrible, even comparing Destiny to TLOU, Wolfenstein, Cyberpunk etc is a low bat because those game have quality hard hitting, ass thumping gameplay.

I'd like it to be a meteor strike somewhere on Earth. So huge that the scars would be visible from space. Then following climate change made the entire planet inhospitable. That would be a cool scenario. Also, very real. Also, very scary.
Cancel the meteor strike bit and it's likely just an accurate projection.

Did they also compared the digital acting to tlou2 by any chance?

Hype level for me is at an all time high. Have not experienced this since Cyberpunk 2077.

Digital Deluxe (Steam), pre-loaded and ready for Friday.

I never expected state of the art water from bethesda so maybe that's why i'm not so negatively impressed by that gif...

It's definitely bad with the reactivity of the water, but if it's not really meant to be explored I won't notice much. I do wish there was underwater exploration.

In fact, it'd be kind of cool if they did an underwater game. A fallout where they have to be underwater bc of radiation, per se. Idk

Yep, you are never gonna swim in this game most probably.
