Starfield xbox series Gameplay leaked

I don't mind the water physics. It's the cape physics that takes me out of it.

Also i accept a little bit of jank here and there. It's a Bethesda game. I accept you StarField

beyhadh2-mayra.gif
I feel like mods will fix both eventually.

To be fair, we all know this is just the beginning for this game. Bethesda will support it for some considerable time with patches and dlc so I'm sure little niggles like water can be updated after launch.

Enemy runs in front of you while you shoot at him and hides behind a rock, and doesn't look your way when you flank him, lol. That AI is unnacceptable while GPT is around. Other than that, it looks cool. Spaceship battles, and base building didn't appeal to me but I can enjoy some Fallout in space.

And don't forget about mods. The advantages of using their same old engine is modders being able and ready from the start.

2 hours of gameplay with Q/A:

Edit - Vertical format sadly, but the game looks incredible.
Edit2 - @14:00 in the first video, better than No Man Sky confirmed.

Summary of the video in English (from Reddit):

He praised the graphics and the ships, saying they were incredible. He also praised the performance, he played it on the xbox series x and according to him, the performance was way above average compared to other recently released games. Although the game is running at 30 fps, he pointed out that the game camouflages this very well and even at 30 fps, it is an extremely fluid experience with a few drops that are not occasional. The npcs are interesting, in the Bethesda standard, but the facial expressions are really disappointing and although they have improved compared to previous titles, they are not revolutionary and are somewhere between average and below average. Another very relevant thing was the AI, he played in normal mode and according to him, the AI is very dumb. he pointed out that there were many other difficulties above normal but he didn't test to see if the AI improved on higher difficulties. He judged the game to be easy. On gameplay and animations: simply very enjoyable, everything has weight, the animation of the doors opening is very fluid and he described it as one of the strongest parts of the game. Combat is walking forward and shooting, mainly because of the AI, but he said it's still very enjoyable and that despite being relatively linear, it's still very enjoyable combat. Now, the quests. in his words, they have a similar basic structure, but even so, they are very captivating and hold the player. he claims to have spent many late nights trying to finish specific quests because they hold him so much and excite him so much. He didn't say much about the main campaign so as not to give away spoilers, but according to him, it's extremely good and certainly Bethesda's best campaign. One of his criticisms of exploration was the lack of a mini-map and a guidebook. It's extremely difficult to find your way around and the player often finds himself lost in a gigantic city and has no idea what to do. According to him, the game will get much better when the guidebooks start coming out, since the game itself doesn't present most of its mechanics to the player, leaving him lost and forcing him to figure it out on the fly. Another criticism was the inventory management, which he says is very limiting, his ship only carries 400 kilos and he said that the inventory is always full and he is always too heavy to run, making it very difficult to focus on looting something because his character carries so little weight and so does the ship. A problem that could easily be fixed with mods and future balancing. I'm too lazy to write more, so I'll summarize the other points; the ship combat isn't a high point of the game, something that improves a lot when you get a better ship, but it still wasn't something to get too excited about.

Well, I've been wishy washy, but this helped me at least temper my expectations. I wanted to have good combat, but it seems the AI is too dumb. I hope going up in difficulty helps

That reads like a 7 honestly

The more I see of this game, the less impressed I am. The visuals do not look good at all. It's very mixed. In certain shots it looks current gen while in others, it looks last gen. The game mechanics do not look great at all.

:messenger_beaming: I laugh my ass off just thinking about how creative they have been cutting corners with what the engine limits. One day left!!!

Look like a combination of scheduled npc , huge city with lots of NPCs , and no variable in the code .

Imagining its dinner time and you have half of the city rushing to the closest restaurant . :messenger_tears_of_joy:

They really are pushing this engine past its limits, I can't imagine how they are planning to use it in TES VI in like 2029.
It's obvious that ocasional upgrades they did so far are not enough and they need to create new engine from ground-up.

Complaining about having to explore in an exploration game 🤣🤣🤣. WTH is wrong with people nowadays where they need an arrow at all times exactly telling them where to go at all times, taking out any fun of exploring and also make everything 100% forgettable because you only focus on an arrow on the mini map.

In old games where you really had to explore you would remember what you see, where you go, how the city is built and what the structure is and where everything is. You looked at all distinct places because that's how you remembered where you are and where to go.

Modern gaming is terrible. Budgets are higher than ever, everything looks better than ever, but it doesn't have any impact because modern gamers just look at the arrow on the mini map.

DO NOT trust this review. Davy Jones is a joke and he lies for everything. He can't play games he's "hyped" (RE 4R, God of War Ragnarok):

On the Last of Us PART II he did not play abby section and made a review still with a 10/10.

If you want I can translate this here:
