Anyway, maybe they didn't want to show preliminary scenes that weren't from finalized work, and as things like dub recording sessions and all have been done relatively pretty late up to this date, and even Mr. Motohiro talked about not seeing the completed first episode until less than 24 hours ago (https://twitter.com/kmotohiro/status/250182355212455936)... in my opinion they could possibly be willing to keep the actual footage 'under the radar' because of reasons like this.

I don't think fans who would buy such a show care to have it on blu-ray at a premium price. If there are people planning on buying it, they're probably waiting for the DVD box coming out in January, which is like 100 bucks cheaper.
