Sunday Ticket No Longer On PS3

Hahaha, hell no. Browser is awful, just plug your pc into the tv and bam!

BTW, the madden deal wouldn't have let you watch on the PS3 anyways.

IDK I know people who watch porn on their ps3's and the sites are all flash based, so I think it could work, though I have no way to test it.

Just to add to what others were saying, apparently Joystiq got official confirmation from DirecTV that XBox 360, XBox One or PS4 (along with PS3 of course) will NOT get NFL Sunday Ticket this year.

I don't want to go off topic here but what is the general consensus and stance here at GAF on VPN's? I have seen people talk about them in Steam threads but I don't want to post about them and get in trouble or banned?

I see them talked about in the Netflix thread (to get access to content from different regions) all the time. I think its ok? Don't quote me though :)

Shouldn't the OP and thread title be updated to reflect that sunday ticket will not be available on any console? as per the Joystiq article?

Can I get a mod to post here either way to clear this up? Can we post about VPN's to access items in different regions?

For those that want a better and cheaper legal option to watch all NFL games via the offical nfl.com stream during the regular season click the link above for instructions!
I can't believe the NFL doesn't have an official version for domestic fans.

SMFH. The NFL is such a backward league in terms of tech, while MLB destroys it in every way in the tech space.

Why let a 3rd party like DirectTV control your product like that? So stupid.

Well the most frustrating thing about it is the actual tech itself is pretty awesome. I actually think the NFL streams at full quality blow the NBA, NHL, and MLB streams completely out of the water. I just wish they would implement a feature to listen to the local radio broadcasts for the teams when you watch an NFL game.

The other really great feature of using the VPN is since its overseas there is no local blackouts. For instance say I live in Nashville and the Titans didn't sell out their home game. Due to NFL rules the game is not shown on the local affliate channel in the Nashville area, and Sunday ticket is now allowed to show local games even on the stream.

The VPN completely eliminates this, and it includes Sunday night, Monday night, and Thursday night football games since again they aren't carried on live TV on a lot of international markets. Sunday ticket only shows the games on Sunday afternoon. Also playoff games are available on Gamepass as well.

Here are some screenshots for some preseason games tonight on NFL Gamepass!. Thought I would throw them up to show the quality of the feed. Also note this year some games have added the ability to choose your home radio feed, which is awesome!
