How do you guys determine which targets are eligible? When I search for stores 35+ show up in my area but I think it's just showing all of them.

Do you look for the ones with a mobile designation?
 
Oh yeah. I'm trading in almost everything. Deals like this don't come around often. I couldn't even get this selling separate on ebay.
 
Shit I forgot about Florida's laws.
Hopefully the Target I go to has some BL2 Vita bundles in stock.

Note the store hours. Those are the hours for the mobile store.
IIRC Target usually opens at around 8:00 am but the mobility doesn't open until later.

EDIT: The Borderlands 2 Vita bundle isn't sold in stores.

The target I went to didn't take infamous SS, when the girl was adding to the machine it was telling limit reached on that item. So either there was a problem or target not taking anymore infamouses, I couldn't trade.
 
Probably already been posted...but if you're a Wii U owner getting MK 8 and already have all the free games they're making available, you could trade one of them in and then get the digital version free from Nintendo.

For ex., Wind Waker HD is $45 trade-in. You could get the $45, buy MK8, get WWHD digital for free.

Did she accidentally add the same title twice? It's one title per transaction, 3 games per guest. Otherwise, it won't let the trade go through.

I work for Target and most stores should be getting their bundles today or tomorrow. We got two bundles this morning(Sacramento Alta Arden store).

Nope, that was the only game I took, she tried a bunch of times, she even logged off system and logged back in, nothing made it accept the game.

checked the site today, game prices still look the same as yesterday, so if you have games, go go go.
 
So, just to double-check, I should be able to buy a bunch of brand new games with the credit, then return them whenever (unopened) to get back their original value, right? And then the value wouldn't expire?

I used to work for Target and I don't remember any of this.
(To be fair this was over 10 years ago)

A lot of employees don't know how to do this, but ask them to check the in stocks tab on the pda, it'll tell them if there's any on the way to the store from the DC.


Edit: they don't know that can look to see if any are on the way. If they act confused tell them it's the top right button after they search for the item. Then to push the instocks tab.
 
Anyone know if you can trade the Black Armor edition of DS2? I see the standard version on the website, but BA isn't listed.

Depends on the clerk. My clerk took it knowing it was a special edition of sorts and that it would have a better resale value.
 
Just checked the Target online store, and they really don't sell any Amazon cards. It would have been great if I could use the Target gift card, on some other gift card for money at another store. Target's selection of games aren't really good when compared to other stores that sell games as well. Guess I'll just pre-order Watch Dogs and The Evil Within and hope for the best.

That's what I've been afraid of. I wouldn't want to take a game like South Park in, and they don't accept it because they reached their limit.
 
Hmm... I think I only paid like $10 or $12 for Persona 4 Golden on the Vita and that would fetch around $18 with this promo. I may just take 'em up. I've really tried to get into the game, but I just can't.

Got 20 games total to trade in. Should easily walk away with over $400.

I wonder if the trade in value updates in real time on their website? Can't go til tomorrow but so far things look to be holding their value.
 
Orlando resident here. Went to Target with my girlfriend and they let us do 3 each and just gave us gift cards. Trading in another 6 games today - looking to get the WiiU Wind Waker bundle when it's in stock.

Keep in mind that the actual rule is only 3 games per guest. Hopefully your Mobile guy is nice enough to take all of your games, that would be a great deal. If they only accept 3 per guest, make sure you bring someone with a valid drivers license to help trade some games in for you. No they only give triple value on the games listed on the site.
 
I think I shall use the proceeds of this deal to fund one of the soon-to-be cheaper XBOnes..

...or groceries as I do quite a bit of my grocery shopping at Target.
 
Thanks to this thread, I made $125 on this yesterday on South Park, M&L, and Pokemon Y.

Today I hope to make another $120 on MH, LM2, and ALBW (have two copies), so THANK YOU OP!!!!!! Gotta love buying NON DIGITAL. I can buy a Wii U now for like $50!!!

What we really need to know right now is, what games did they stop taking and have any prices dropped??? Note: call ahead to see when the mobile people are actually there.
 
I have 2 Targets near me. If I trade in 3 games at one, can I go to the other and trade in 3 more? Or will the system flag me for having trading in games at the first store already? This is if I can only do one transaction at the first store.
 
Shame there isn't one in New York city, got a few console games lying around that I'd love to trade in for some steam bux.

The guy ringing me up was a stickler for 3 games only. I asked if I could do my other 3 at another target and he said yeah no problem. He even told me where the nearest locations were. Luckily in the DFW targets are like McDonalds
