Well GAF I'm standing in line right now and they have no idea about the Target trade in program, let alone the promotion...
NCAA 2K3 is an extremely rare title on Gamecube. The promotion gives you $30 back while you can get ~$60 selling on Ebay or Amazon

I don't understand how the employees don't know how to activate the triple trade-in.
It does it automatically. I literally watched the guy click "Trade-In Program", then click on the console, then the game, then answer the questions about the quality of the game. He then got my information, put it in, and printed out the paper. I mean, it seemed super straightforward, so much so that I don't even work there and I could do it.
It has to be a Target with a Target Mobile "kiosk" in Electronics.
Big drop in prices from yesterday. Still will unload my copy of Wind waker for 30 today. Tomb raider went from 54 to 30, same with infamous, diablo, and South Park.
Fucking ridiculous. I just spent 20 minutes at Target with a Mobile employee who didn't know what the fuck he was doing. I had to walk him through every step, and it didn't end up tripling the values. Now I have to go back after work and see if the assistant manager can help. What a fucking joke.
It is! They still have no idea.

The woman at the kiosk that I went to yesterday had no idea what she was doing. She kept scanning the games for the people in front of me and getting an error. So instead of trying something else, she would just scan it again and get the same error. Finally she called a regular Target employee over to help her, but he couldn't do it either.
I eventually got fed up and left.

Are the prices from the search with the value tripled already? A lot of the prices are not necessarily particularly great but I see at least one or two where I might just take the hit to not have to ship a game, etc.
So wait, for Floridians, we have to spend all of the credit in store that day? Can't put it on a card?
no. b/c you can't trade them inAnyone have info on prices for non-listed titles?
I said earlier that I was able to walk out with two gift cards. I live in Orlando.
39 KZ SF
39 DR3
33 Ryse
All after they were tripled
Trade in values dropped today
All were 45 before
KI Uprising was $37 now $21
GT6 was $55 now $30
Ground Zeroes PS4 nets roughly $24. Got it for $15.
That worked shockingly well..

especially considering TF is selling *new* for $40. I'd expect Target to make an adjustment to their values soon.
The guy in front of me did two 3-game transactions in a row, even though they were checking ID and entering customer information, it worked for him and he got over $200 for six games.
Titanfall dropped from $54.96 to $42.00 in the last hour according to the online pricing gizmobot. Still $2 more than new ones sell for on amazon...
Sucks that the prices dropped. I couldn't get out yesterday to really take advantage of it. The three games I want to trade in ( Pokemon rumble Blast,Pokemon battle revolution and GTAV) netted me 90 before but it's down to 70. Debating if I should still head over there.
makes sense as a lot of people on slickdeals and CAG sounded like they were buying two copies from Toy R US buy two fro $70 and flipping.
the trade values were bound to drop as more people traded games in.Pretty weak of Target to announce a triple value promotion then lower all the base values... but man they screwed up and were paying way more than stuff was worth when it kicked off. Someone needs a slap on the wrist and a calculator.

Whelp, between that and the clerks at my store eating a big bowl of stupid and the black shirted mobile guy not showing up, Target lost a customer.Wow prices dropped like rocks! 20.00 less for infamous and need for speed.
