KZ SF - $45
GTA V - $52

I am loving this

The guy ringing me up was a stickler for 3 games only. I asked if I could do my other 3 at another target and he said yeah no problem. He even told me where the nearest locations were. Luckily in the DFW targets are like McDonalds

Awesome, thanks. I actually have 7 games, so I may have to go again tomorrow anyway.

Wish they were taking Kirby Triple Deluxe because I just finished it yesterday and have no interest in keeping it. It isn't showing up on the list.

Shame there isn't one in New York city, got a few console games lying around that I'd love to trade in for some steam bux.

Theres a bunch of them in NYC, theres one on 116th st in Manhattan, right by the east river, one by Yankee Stadium, couple in Bronx and Brooklyn, just check put in your zip into the site to show closest location.

Brooklyn, the Bronx, Long Island, Jersey City....plenty of choices...

Where in Brooklyn? Am I bugging or is there one in the Atlantic Ave mall? LI and Jersey are too deep for me. Hell, the bronx is pushing it.

Edit: the one on 116th doing the trade in?

So, is there a reason I'm not thinking of to NOT trade current gen games for ~$50 and then buying them at a lower price?
No real reason outside of being lazy ;)

I traded in GTAV for $51 and plan on just picking it up again if it comes to PS4. If not, then I can always get it again on PSN when it goes on sale again.

There is one in Atlantic Terminal but I am not sure if they take trade ins. When I do a search with the link provided in the OP, nothing shows in the city.

I got $170 for 10 games. The clerk did three at a time, so I have four gift cards. There are some steal deals there. For example, I bought Sims 3 and Madden 3DS for $5 apiece in Christmas 2012, and with this deal, Madden itself gives about $10. Biggest dollar value was Sonic Lost World at ~$42 and Disgaea 3 Vita for ~$35.

Go do it now, before they change their pricing!

Wow, I'm not from US so could you guys tell me what trade-in value usually is after week or two from release?

I sold PS4 version of AC IV and MGS with maximum of 5€ loss (not through store, but through site similar to eBay).

when i did the normal search i thought i saw that Brooklyn, etc... had mobile...but i do see that they're not showing up with the link in the first post...

maybe the Target's in the city don't take the trades...

This kills me. I just sold KZ Shadowfall on Ebay. After it was all said and done I only got $27 from it. Had I just waited one more week, I could have gotten $43-$45 for it.

This is true of any trade ever though. I've never seen trade in offers this high.

Zelda Four Swords for Gamecube going for 30. Haven't played it in ages and not really as fun without the multiplayer.
I'm surprised GameCube games are coming up with trade-in values. I was even more surprised to see that Killer 7 is worth $10 (non-tripled). I may have to take a long hard look at my GC collection and see what else I might consider parting with.

Yup! I'm thinking of trading Ikaruga, Zelda 4 Swords and Mario Kart Double Dash for a cool 90 all together.

Oh, I just remembered. When I was at Target yesterday, I saw the disc version of XCOM: Enemy Within (DLC expansion) for 14.99. This is super cheap compared to Steam (29.99). Can the CD key be redeemed on Steam?

I think I shall use the proceeds of this deal to fund one of the soon-to-be cheaper XBOnes..

...or groceries as I do quite a bit of my grocery shopping at Target.

Yeah, debating myself. I forgot about two games and my total will be around $150. I never really buy groceries at Target. I could score an Xbox One for 250 which is a pretty decent price for me. If I go ahead and go trade Killzone, which I got free during a sale, then I could fund Dead Rising 3. SO TEMPTING!

Edit: No local Targets do trading here. Have to go to AL. Oh well, there goes that pipe dream.

what the hell is target gonna do with all these games? I haven't been to target recently, do they have a used game selection?

Target doesn't sell used games. I asked the guy who did my transaction, and he said that the old games would be recycled to make new games. Sounds weird, because why would they pay you for a game that they would grind up instead of sell at a marked up price?

But I took a look at the link in the OP and found this at the bottom of the page: http://www.targettradeinprogram.com/ewaste

Wow, if it's just for ewaste then they shouldn't be deducting for games without their inserts....

I'm REALLY leaning towards using it for groceries as Target's grocery prices tend to be lower than those of other supermarkets!

My target has used games in the magazine area.

Fucking ridiculous. I just spent 20 minutes at Target with a Mobile employee who didn't know what the fuck he was doing. I had to walk him through every step, and it didn't end up tripling the values. Now I have to go back after work and see if the assistant manager can help. What a fucking joke.

Yeah, Winn-Dixie is the lowest for down here. Target has pretty good furniture and hard to find items. I avoid Wal-Mart at all costs. However, groceries at Target beats out most any other supermarket, so yeah.

I will say make sure to search if your Target does game trading or not. You will look foolish going into one when they do not do it.
