Target will be selling real Nuka-Cola Quantum for Fallout 4's launch

Didn't have a chance of grabbing one. All five of the Targets were sold out within 30 minutes of opening supposedly.

I found them opening the box today and snagged two. I wanted four buy I took what I could get. All targets short of two had sold out right away.

Got mine hours after it opened at the most central store in town. Shocked they didn't sell faster there.

Yeah, I forgot all about this until I read this thread. Just snuck out of work for a bit and they sold out of their 12 within an hour of opening.

Closest store to me that has any is 80 miles away. Sigh. Sold out basically everywhere.
3/5 of the targets in my city didn't even get them in stock and the other 2 only got 1 case (12 bottles) and one guy bought the entire case eat one of the stores.

Most reports of stores that had them also only got 1 case (12 bottles) with no limit. Sounds like a complete fucking shit show i would rather spend a few more bucks and get a nice replica online without the terrible jones soda stamp on it.

I severely underestimated demand for the soda. Was able to get 2. Also entertaining to watch a reseller freak out over the 2 per customer limit.

How the hell did they thought selling only 12 bottles was a good idea?

I'm at work now, but I might as well not even try to check out my nearest Target during my break.

Has anyone posted a picture of them wearing the Pip-boy and opening the Blops 3 Juggernog fridge to show it's filled with Nuka Cola yet?

So I got one cause I got there when Target opened and there already was a line. They limited us all to one bottle but said we could get back in line after everyone had a chance at one if we wanted another. A few guys worked there so when I went back in line I asked if I had a chance at a second and one said no so decided not to wait. One lady was annoyed at the one bottle rule cause she was buying it as a christmas present for her two daughters' boyfriends.

On the good news, the manager there said they should be getting more as it is exclusive to Target but not an exclusive item (she said it's marked as an active item).

So, sounds like if you missed out just keep checking Target. That's what I am going to do cause I'd like to have one to drink while I play the game :).

Probably didn't get their shipment in until then. Apparently the Target near where I work (guess I'm glad I didn't go there) hadn't gotten theirs in and probably would get it in today's shipment.

one target showed in stock, drove there and they tell me they never got them. Why the fuck do they even bother with this kind of promo stuff?

I see pretty nice Nuka Cola's on ebay for $10.

Brother's store only got 12, and he bought 8 of them. He was unaware it was limited to 1 per customer and they didn't have signage. Whooooops.

Things are going for $100 on ebay.

Well they better sell them soon cause if the target I went to is correct, people will be able to find more at Target once they get another shipment in.

Tossed them up on one of my more barren shelves. Need to reorganize them but I like the look of them so far.

For some reason I thought it would be six packs, and I thought it would be more available than it was.

Was going to get some after work, but since it's meant to be a collector's thing it's already sold out in town. Meh.

For the record, I love Jones soda but the Berry Lemonade flavor is my least favorite.

I thought it would also be 6 packs or at least not a limited stock

can someone explain to me the point of limited stuff like this? Between this and pepsi's fuck up of the back 2 the future pepsi..why are they turning down money? its absolutely ridiculous

The jones website has other limited edition soda so I bet after targets exclusive deal runs out they will put it on the site

They can't be Pepsi dumb , can they 0_o

Well you can make your own on their website. Upload a label and pick a flavor. It is expensive though.

Are they stocking these in the soda/grocery area or the game area? Lunch in 20 minutes and a Target nearby shows low stock still.

It's cheaper to make limited supply and rabid collector fervor serves them more as advertisement / people talking about the game than the $1 or whatever per bottle they'd make on flooding stores with them. They are also guaranteed to sell every single bottle they produce. They're collector's items. They're limited. It's how that works.

It's ultimately on Target for not giving a shit about the limit. Some stores have limit 1, some have limit 2. Some don't even realize what it's for and sell the entire case to one guy.

I'd take that with a grain of salt until you read an actual announcement. That sounds like a real "yeah sure I'll check the back room for you" retail grunt line to me.

Once again, the target I went to she said they should be getting more as they are tagged an active item in their system.

It's a promotional rebranding of Berry Blue (or whatever). That they received extremely limited supply of. They're not going to exist in perpetuity (outside of Jones' website), and just because it's listed as "active" doesn't mean they can just order as many cases as they want. It probably has the same UPC as Berry Blue, even.

Retail workers will say a lot of things / vomit whatever at an upset customer to get them to leave.

Everywhere in the Boston area sold out. If anybody could get 1 bottle and ship it over, it would be greatly appreciated! Was told by 2 stores they are getting shipments in on Thursday, so I'm not sure if all Targets will get more.

Each Target got about 12-15 bottles, it's the most dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I went to the store 40min after opening and they had about 10-12. I got 3. 1 for my brother when he gets back from college, 1 that I already drank and 1 for my friend coming back from college since he can't even pick up fallout 4 yet or play it from being busy. Not that good of a taste. I'm surprised these are selling out, even though I guess I shouldn't be.

It's literally a different label put on Berry Lemonade.

Except she wasn't trying to get anyone to leave. This wasn't like people were hounding her about it and no one was acting upset (except one mom who was just trying to buy a gift for a few people and was upset at the one per customer. And she wasn't venting to the manager but to the other people in line). People were being pretty civilized at the store I went to (probably because they were handling it well).

I work retail. I can usually tell the "I just am telling you this cause I don't know and it will make you stop hounding me" attitude.

I mean I'm not saying she couldn't be wrong, but I don't think she was just trying to BS anyone either or just get them to go away/stop asking me questions i really don't know. She stated it very matter of factly (and was very aware of what hte product was cause before she opened she made sure to let everyone know it was 1 per person, no running or you are getting kicked out, and had the bottles behind the counter so that they regulated how many you got. She was quite aware of the situation).

If I'm remembering correctly, Jones is a vendor item. Target doesn't order it, a representative from Jones' distribution partner does. Like Coke / Pepsi. If that's the case, she has absolutely zero idea of if they're getting more, and is unable to influence ordering any more than begging the rep.

The first store I went to said they sold out in 5 minutes but they weren't limited to one per person. The second one I went to had one left and they were being limited. Glad I could get one...I don't even drink soda, so this is the first one I have bought in years lol

This guys right. I worked at target for 5 years. BTW any random sales floor person isnt going to know when they get more stock in. Unless it was a GSA that told you.
