Target will be selling real Nuka-Cola Quantum for Fallout 4's launch

If I'm remembering correctly, Jones is a vendor item. Target doesn't order it, a representative from Jones' distribution partner does. Like Coke / Pepsi. If that's the case, she has absolutely zero idea of if they're getting more, and is unable to influence ordering any more than begging the rep.

Well, she wasn't claiming she could order it for anyone either honestly (I think she did say she didn't know when another shipment would come in. But apparently she was under the belief that they'd probably get another one due to how it was labelled).

Anyways, imo worth it to check Target for a while if you really want one and I at least got my collector's bottle. I'd like to try for one to drink while I play fallout so I might check back a few times.

An item being marked in their systems as "Active" is most likely just a binary Active/Discontinued state. They could have auto-clearance associated with something being marked as Discontinued, or the system could be lagging behind... considering it went on sale today.

These bottles were street dated with the game, they've been sitting in their backstock for over a week, with the game. It's extremely unlikely they'll get more.

I got 2. The store only let people buy 1 because there is a limit, but I convinced the guy to let me get two so I could drink one and keep the other as a collectible. It was a clusterfuck though. All the target employees were buying them up and I got there right at 8am.

Went to Target across from my office during my lunch break.

The girl working the game section said one of the other employees bought them all (though the way she said bought makes me think he just took them).

People suck :(

Apparently Target employees can get fired for buying up stuff like that. I would mention it to a manager =)

Lucky enough to get one this morning. Used my target trade in credit to get fallout 4, halo and tomb raider. They put all the bottles behind the counter at the electronics section. The lady there wasn't letting anyone buy more than 2.

So my store apparently only got 12 bottles in total and they could only "find" 4. They had to find them because apparently someone had somehow preordered them and they were up front. I showed up at 9am and yeah, they were gone. Shit show.

It's literally a different label put on Berry Lemonade.

Sorry :(
I got there from 8:40-8:50 and I went back and got shovel knight today too(forgot when I picked up fallout 4) and an employee said they sold out before 9:00. He didn't want one luckily.

The taste isn't worth the price or rarity. Would rather just have it sit there looking blue and cool than the taste anyway. Gonna have my friend and brother drink it and then tell them the rarity after they open it to see what they say.

Two targets closest to my Illinois residential suburb were totally sold out within minutes of opening the store. eBay listings already rampant at $100 - $200 per bottle. Also after reading that a lot of the stock was purchased / taken by store employees (no offense intended) really bugs me.

Why even advertise the product if there would only be 12 per store? Anyone think Jones will be producing more to satisfy the demand and water down the black market resale value?

That poster in the back is pretty damn awesome. I loved searching for Quantums in Fallout 3, felt something awesome to find one, considering how rare they are. Sad to see people are scalping even this.

I used to work at a Target. People most definitely pull this shit. Retail is a shit show when you have teenagers as your staff

My store said only 1 per customer, had about 32 though, I went at opening though and I'm sure they sold out when I left, lots of people were there at 8.

All those pictures of people holding them in the parking lots on their way out the store...I hate that so much. Like, you can't even wait to get home and take a proper picture before being an asshole

People who purposely go to these things only to resell piss me off so much.
Don't get me wrong. Money is money. But it's just annoying

If it's sitting there for 30 minutes it's fair game.

when I worked at a Wal Mart, the rule was no understocking, it had to be on the sales floor. So when I was flipping Spice Girl dolls, they were on the floor, sure. But they weren't in the doll section. They were on the bike rack so I could walk over and buy them away from prying eyes.

I went to my little Target Express and they didn't even have any to begin with. Didn't fancy the 2 mile walk today to check my big Target either.

This made me laugh fairly hard.

went to target in the morning for the buy 2 get 1 free and asked if they had any left. They said someone came in and bought all of them :/

I'm really surprised that there wasn't a limit on how many you can buy. Some lady at the target I went got angry when she was told the limit was 2. She quickly went from "my kid wants one but I don't really care if I get one" to "this is unacceptable! You mean those 12 are the only ones you got? Why can't I buy more!?". She called 3 other targets while standing around waiting for a manager.

Does anyone have a good scan of the label? EntrepenurialGAF should order a boatload from Jones, and Ebay them ourselves. Make a few bucks and dillute the pool at the same time!

My Target was same as reddit OP's; one guy bought all of them and no one questioned it.

I just wanted to have one sit on my desk for a few days, so I guess not a huge loss, but jesus. Realistically, most of the people who knew about this and knew that it would be in such demand are Fallout fans, and they're only screwing other Fallout fans.

I didn't see this thread, but I posted in the OT. Everyone is sold out and people are ripping people off on eBay for one. What a shame. I'm a bit let down that I didn't get one.

I didn't just ignore this thread either. I just found it.

Why don't they just sell them online. No one should pay $100 for a single bottle at launch. That's insane

Target's link is broken or is offline.

Is there an easy way to see if a target has them in stock?

I tried to look on targets site itself, which was extremely inaccurate. Brickseek was also off by a lot. On there it said that the 2nd store I went to had 0, but they had some when I got there. Just calling and asking is probably the best route

I had one in my hands this morning but put it back. It's just Jones soda. What's the big deal here? I did buy Fallout 4, Asscreed, and Blops though.

Really? Target is down the street, going to stop by and see if I can get one. This is reminding me of Pepsi Perfect all over again :(
