Tearaway Unfolded hits PS4 on 9th September.

So within a few days we get Until Dawn, Tearaway and MGSV. Yes that sounds like a splendid idea, certainly two of those games aren't going to die.

I still don't understand what is this game? As in is it a remaster or a proper sequel/successor to the vita version? Because I own the Vita version and honestly don't see the need for the PS4 version.

If you have a Vita without Tearaway what are you doing? It really is something special that would only work on Vita.
And that's nothing. I own a Vita since 2013 and I have Golden Abyss since it has been on PS+ and I haven't even touched that one yet.

I'm literally buried by games on Vita (not that I don't have a backlog on my other systems as well :/ )

Maybe I'll give it a try. I was pretty impressed by Tearaway VITA. Now, on PS4, it could be a good opportunity to try this game, but I'm not as impressed. The DS4 is not as ergonomic and brilliant as the VITA for a game like that.

Hard to be super hyped, but only because I was super hyped for the original and not a bit disappointed.

So, now I'm more, cautiously optimistic that this version will: offer enough new content for a veteran, translate it's gameplay to the different control scheme....oh and yeah finally reach an audience -the original was criminally under appreciated.

Day one for me without any doubt. I enjoyed the Vita version a lot and i look forward to revisiting the beautiful paperworld once more.

One of the easiest day 1 purchases for me no doubt. Everyone buy and support this amazing gem of a game!

It sure is but most of those don't count cause reasons.

Your missing the best one persona 5.

But most of them remakes, remasters or multiplatform? I can see why some people don't "count" them. It's rather dense but those games aren't available on Xbox just like how Forza 6, Gears of War, Halo 5 and Tomb Raider won't be this fall.

Best wishes.

Will double-dip for that price. Never finished this on Vita, so I'm excited.

I love seeing all these release dates. Next up: Persona 5, No Man's Sky, Rime, and The Tomorrow Children hopefully :)

$40 is good, but so close to MGSV...it's going to get ripped to shreds.

Totally different audiences though. Personally, I will be buying this at launch and hold off on MGSV until I can get it on sale simply because my nephew and I can play through one together and not the other. Plus you have a lower price point with Tearaway.

It's a dumb argument period. There are a lot more coming to ps4 and no not most are remaster or remakes.

Not directly no, but I can't imagine most buying both within the same month.

Some will, many won't. However I think the group for whom both MGSV and Tearaway have immense appeal (like me) is a lot smaller than those that are dialed into one title or the other. If Sony gets out there and puts some marketing muscle behind it (e.g. Tearaway just screams huge in-store cardboard cutout display), I think it'll do just fine.

So will this require the camera to get the most out of it? I didn't like the game much for Vita (only played for an hour), but I'm willing to give it another chance because of the budget price.

Just read the US PS Blog post. Looks like US isn't getting the Special Edition with the plush Atoi? Anyone know if this is the case? Because I NEED it!

For a game that some have labelled an enhanced 'port', it sure has been in development a long time. I'm confident this means it will be a considered re-imagining with level design and game play mechanics reworked for the big screen. If they do this successfully and also add a little more challenge, I can see this getting a very warm critical reception. Hopefully translating into commercial success. Will be sad to see consumers ignoring this game second time around.

Why are Sony announcing all there shit before E3?

They must have a big ass conference...

The Last Guardian Confirmed ;)

Could just as easily be that they think they will be overshadowed. Could work both ways. I suspect both Shenmue and TLG will be announced this E3 and people will bicker about which is the bigger announcement. :)
