Also, so glad Irma is in it. Had a crush on her as a kid (I know not plus sized, but still). Don't see that happening this time, she's just a kid now, but still cool she's in it. I honestly hope they bring back Mona. One of the few female mutants who actually kicked ass.
 
This is the first time I've ever watched the new animated show. Overall I liked it, but I am not fond of Donatello's voice. Glad it's popular and kids get a TMNT show to love like I did when I was a kid,

Donatello's voice is actually raph from the original. Messes me up sometime when I watching lol. Remember how some episodes of the old one had the wrong voices for the wrong turtles occasionally. Lol
 
I haven't cared for Turtles since the mid-late nineties and only recently started caring thanks to the new movie leaks. Now I'm all in and have a handful or more of this show in my system and I need more. I'm guessing this is like every other kids show and doesn't have a proper full season released on disc?

I also want the Out of he Shadows game (I know I know) but apparently it has been delayed on PSN. I want it before my hype fades.
 
Good episode. Glad to have the show back :) I will say I think Casey and Raph are too evenly matched considering their backgrounds and the last chase scene was awesome but seems like a thing that shouldn't' have happened. Shouldn't the robots be able to easily transmit data wirelessly back to home base and not need to actually physically return? Tons of robots nowadays can do that :/
 
There were references from the first 90s movie. Casey and Raph had a wicked fight scene. The action was excellent. Great episode and a great show in general.
 
There's like 3 great episodes this season so I'm hoping to catch this latest one later and to see if it's actually great, though hearing about references to that 90s movie sounds pretty cool.

Your best luck for the entire season is itunes

I heard that the nick site has a few episodes to stream, but I am not from the USA so I can't give you better details =/
 
I'm on my vita so I can't link but it's called Bread Winners. I know it too well because I've been on demanding the show (edit: tmnt) the past two days and that's the only commercial they play. I don't even see the appeal at all.
 
The Good, The Bad, and Casey Jones
Great episode and I really loved all the references to casey's intro from the Mirage comics, which can also be seen as references to the 1990 film since it's based on the same material. When
Casey is spotting Raph on the building top letting off steam
I was just like heck yeah!

As a side note, I was able to watch this episode at midnight Sunday morning (many hours before it aired on TV) thanks to having the iTunes season pass. Hope it's the same next week :)

Main one that stood out to me was Casey noticing from far away on the fire escape when Raph was walking on the top of the building. I believe that was the first movie.
 
The first film is like the Raphael micro-series issue in the Mirage series. All of them roughly involve him intervening with Casey. 2k3 series as well.

I think it's just his natural athletic ability. I know it's usually the case on tv and film but training =/= unstoppable.

edit: The movie references I noticed were
Raph fighting Casey after catching him beating up thugs, Casey spying Raph blowing off steam on a rooftop, and Casey getting scared of a rat only to be confonted by Splinter later (which happened to April in the orignal film).
Anything else either I forgot or didn't pick up on. Why was the episode not on hulu or on demand yesterday?

The guitar riff when Casey first appeared was straight from the original movie as was the first weapon he used on Ralph was a baseball bat.
 
Don't make such a big deal about of the day change. I don't like it, but it's not going to impact he show much at all.

It reairs often on different days of the week. Heck they can reair it anytime they want. It will be seen plenty.

There's also digital sales on itunes/amazon/etc. to consider. As well as DVD sales. No Blu-Ray yet, but I'm definitely getting it when that happens (currently I have itunes subs to all the seasons)

And certanly not least... merchandising. Nick doesn't care if a kid watches a brand new episode on the day it first airs. What they want are toy and other merch sales, which is the bulk of the revenue for a show like this. And they seem totally okay in that department.

The show has nothing to worry about, if you are concerned that lower viewership on a Sunday is going to mean anything to them.
