New episode was alright. Loved the action scenes. Didn't like Leo still being a benchwarmer.

My theory for the goings on *includes preview clip spoiler*:
Seeing as how there's a man with an extra finger, a bigfoot and presumably more mutated folks in the countryside, I'm guessing the Kraang facility they visit in the preview may be a crashed ship or laboratory that is the source of April's genetics and the rest of the area's bizarre inhabitants.

Edit: Oh yeah, Donnie and Mikey (Revoltech) came in today. They look great, of course, but Mikey's chucks are a bit small and are hard to keep in his hands at most angles.

My speculation about the first character :
Since she can manipulate time, one more point to the Usagi Yojimbo rumor yay ! Can't wait for some TMNT 3 and Turtles in Time references xD

I picked out Jesse Ventura's voice the second "The Finger" opened his mouth, but that fight scene at the end totally caught me off guard. I'm so glad they threw in him
tossing out wrestling moves left and right.

I want to get those Revoltech Turtles, but I need a store that's located in the U.S. Does anyone sell them domestically?
 
I've been getting the episodes via Xbox Video through the season passes but it seems like they still haven't added in the last 2 or 3 episodes yet so I can't finish season 2. Stupid canada
 
Actually then being random dumb thugs was kind of core to their character, hence their names. They should be stronger than the turtles going by their animals, but they were too dumb and lazy to take full advantage of their power.

Kinda odd to hear Rock Steady go from a New York accent to a Russian one but both have so much more personality compared to the original toon.

Bebop's new voice actor is pretty hilarious.

Bebop is a musical style in the same family as swing and jazz.

Rocksteady was a style in between ska and reggae.

If they were designed to fit their names, Bebop would be in a zoot suit and Rocksteady would have dreads.

I take it people aren't happy with her seemingly leading Donnie on like that? Donnie finally realized how he was being possessive of her and tried to do right by apologizing and backing off and she could have buried it all right then and there but that must have come off as endearing to her, so she goes and does that and we're not sure where the showrunners are taking this anymore.

Well, can't stand seeing a sad Donnie so hopefully this will turn out for the best. Anyway, so... was that the scene that was supposedly leaked in a storyboard months ago?
 
aside from revo leo & raph last week and revo mikey & don I have coming later this month in my amiami monthly combined order...

I found Tiger Claw today at TRU! And the Robotic Foot Soldier, which is a much better figure than I initially thought it would be. Love how you can remove the second pair of arms and you have lots of attachments to put on each arm. Allows for a lot of cool flexibility.

Also saw those new comic book turtle figures... I bought raph just cause, well, I love raph... but honestly not a big fan of how they look. May not get the other 3. Maybe I'll break down next time there's a B1G1 50% off deal or something.

Oh, and I saw all the new figs at Target as well, except they were charging more (8.99 TRU vs. 10.98 at Target... no idea why O.o)

[Oh, that Bigfoot episode was fantastic too!]

Man, I need Tigerclaw! I did pick up the four-armed foot myself yesterday and saw the comic-style turtles too (didn't want them, though since I've never read the comics). Hopefully Tigerclaw will be ours soon!

I think justlike everyone else, he learned his lesson but will stay in love without the over-obsession. Just like Raph has remained a hothead without questioning Leo's leadership anymore (so far).
 
This week's episode was weird

On a side note, Shredder really has a hardon for mutating people. Dude needs to chill. I thought we had run out of"imperfect" mutagen though (then again, where did Donnie get his from the last episode? A resupply before leaving the city long after the events with Apirl's Dad and Mutagen Man?)

The panel finished out with a screening of the third episode of Season 3, which will air next week. Called
"Buried Secrets," special guest Renae Jacobs -- who voiced April O’Neil in the original animated series -- plays April’s long-lost mother, who has seemingly been stuck in deep-freeze in a buried Kraang ship found beneath April’s house. The episode is a creepy Halloween spookfest, inspired by films like John Carpenter’s The Thing as April’s mom turns out to be more -- or is that less? -- than what she seems. Also, there’s a Halloween III reference!

Get your butt out there and look then! I saw tiger claw at three stores this weekend. he is likely to sell out during this first shipment because it's been a while since we've gotten a villain figure as strong as him.

I have checked a TRU at least twice a week for months (I work 5 minutes from one). But I guess they only JUST started hitting retail?

There has been a huge jump in sightings of the Tiger Claw wave (Tiger Claw, Robotic Foot Soldier, all 4 Comic Turtles) in the last week. Prior to that they were only at Wal-Mart for about 10 to 14 days.

Wal-Mart has been getting the last 2 or 3 waves early for whatever reason. I think it has to do with the cube displays they have for TMNT stuff which other stores don't have.
 
I'm way behind since I just started watching but damn at the Big Trouble in Little China episode. It's pretty cool but at the same time weird that the some of the plot elements and characters are lifted right out of the film. Hell, they even borrowed the style of music from the film score.

The actor who played Lo Pan played Ho Chan. :P What a wacky crossover.

I don't remember what episode it was, but the Utroms debating how to pronounce "sabotage" is one of the most obscure Star Trek jokes.

BTW... some people don't know this when commenting but the eyes in these figures MOVE, so even though mikey's eyeballs are not seen in that photo, they are there... you simply move the knot on their bandana on the back of their head and you can either completely white out their eyes or move the eyeballs to look straight, left or right. One of the best features of these figures.

1. How much did you pay for shipping? Which type of shipping do you recommend?

2. How long did it take you to receive them once they were shipped?

I'm looking to get Donny as a birthday present but if shipping is ridiculous, which I'm afraid it might be, I think I'll pass.
 
Didn't like that episode very much, at least the villain for the episode was kinda creepy.

Will we ever see shredder and kraang prime working together in the technodrome? I still hope for that day, ohh the feels!

Happy to answer anything I can!

1. I used EMS shipping and it was 2400 Yen to ship two of the turtles. I have another order with the other two coming later this month. If you bought all 4 at once it should net some savings. EMS is faster but more expensive. If you don't mind waiting about twice as long (but possibly 3x or 4x as long, there are various factors) then you can safely chose Registered SAL instead and save about 40-50% on shipping costs.

2. With EMS to California it is about 3 business days roughly.

I ordered through hlj and the shipping for two turtles was 1,720 yen. When I was notified for the payment request and subsequent shipping notice, I was surprised my order came within that week when I expected it to come mid-week the following week. Edit: this was all with standard shipping and to east coast NA.
 
Or, when you consider that leaked storyboard w/ Donnie wearing his mystic outfit, that this scene was originally meant to be in a later episode but was moved up or perhaps the episode where they gain their mystic forms was planned to be much earlier in the season.
 
My son (4) was too funny watching tonight's ep. With a concerned and confused tone, he said "What is going on?!" during a lot of the creepy segments lol.

I couldn't tell if the episode was out of order or not since Donnie only made one gesture. Leo was equally inhibited so there's nothing plot intensive that suggests one should have come before the other, although
there was the frog tease that may show up next ep which wouldn't make much sense having the bigfoot episode in between.

Enjoyed this ep, even if it was a bit weird. Little disappointed that Mikey's gut feeling wasn't explained. Kraang shitting on April yet again... girl can't catch a break. Also the other Turtles were dicks for making the injured one "go first".
 
Just watched the premiere. I liked the Friday the 13th parallels. Monster in the woods wearing overalls and bag over head with one eyehole trades up to hockey mask. That was neat, I guess.

It was one of the most intense I've ever seen in a kids' show.

There are a lot of young kids, like 4, 5, 6, 7yo who watch this. Sometimes I wonder how they react to a lot of the creatures on this show because they can be pretty creepy. I love it, but I have my worries.

Not that I want them to tone it down. Just wish I had some insight into their decision process for this kind of thing. How do they know when they've gone too far?
