Online on PS4 is still busted for me. Can't find a match to save my life, and the matches against people I know aren't that great.

For reference, I played against a dude in IJ2 and the ping was showing 20ms (we're both wired). The match was flawless. Played again in SFV, match was flawless.

Tekken 7? Four bars

Better than before, but still connection issues all around.

Tournament has the same problems as before, where about every 3rd match doesn't happen because of syncing issues.
Ranked still doesn't work everytime. It actually shows less opponent's then before, had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up.
Also can't believe there are only 2 - 5 open player matches active at any given time? The game is new!
Injustice 2 for me has none of these problems at all.

While the patch definitely improved the online experience they are far from done.

Post patch I've been having a great time on PS4. Only one or two laggy matches post patch. I hope Tekken Team continues to iron out these issue so everyone can enjoy a great game. I feel this is the best Tekken yet, it's a shame it has had such a rocky start.

I bought the PC version now and connections are all rock solid, never get lag or spikes or connection errors midgame in any 4-5 bar game and input lag feels better.
Played more than 100 matches on PC with no problems at all. Also feels like more people are playing on wired connections on pc because games just feel snappy.

On ps4 I kept getting lag spikes and connection errors CONSTANTLY in my 4-5 bar games, both devices are connected by wire to the same router.

The PS4 version is almost as bad for me now as it was pre-patch. I don't know if this is a load issue with their servers or what, but I was getting "connection lost" right and left last night when waiting for a ranked match.

They've got to fix this "tournament dies when the host quits" issue too.

Same here, one week later I still get very frequent "connection lost", endless "syncing" that does goes into a connection error message, revenge matches in ranked rarely work.
Matches in tournaments are still a coin toss if they work or not, same applies to player match lobbies, where I can have a match with an opponent, then another, but then it has connection issues with the opponent I just played before.

So overall online is still in bad shape and a very frustrating experience. When I sit down to play for half an hour I don't want to be forced to play offline when I want to get more than 2 matches in.

What's even more annoying than the constant connection lost pop-ups is the time it takes to find another opponent.. Like seriously, WTF is taking so long? Its 2017 and here we have a game with the worst matchmaking I have ever seen, despite the fact that its focused on online play.
