It's efforts like this that perfectly display why I go to the theater so infrequently nowadays.
Agreed

My (and other peoples') problem is that she's badly miscast. Sarah Connor's character needs an actor in the vein of Linda Hamilton, Sigourney Weaver, or whereabouts.
It looked better then the last two films at least. Not that bad actually.
You guys are total lol. It looks rad. Emelia doesn't look "bad". She is necessarily a different actress. I don't know what y'all were expecting, except to say you think a popular franchise should stop making movies because you really liked the one that came out in 1991.
Would you take orders and rest the fate of humanity on a bug-eyed Emilia Clarke? She has the intensity of a Chihuahua that thinks it's a bulldog.

Internet fan boy cynicism is the worst. Too busy patting each other on the back, making a centrifugal force machine of negative fun, to even be open minded.
Looks good to me, and I'm a huge fan of the Terminator movies (tho 3 had some cringe worthy moments)
Probably because the living tissue on endo-skeleton gets old much quicker than living human. After all, that living tissue is to deceive human beings & also to allow machines to travel time.
That explains why the old T800 was waiting for new T800 (which looks young). - Terminator that grows old (on outside) very quickly, it seems.
Perfect.
Also yes. She would be a better choice. Ironic that she also stars in GoT.But there are degrees of suitability to a role. Most people here would agree that Lena Headey is a pretty good choice for Sarah, because she has a good balance of sternness and sensitivity that Emilia Clarke doesn't.
What ass?
Why does Sarah Connor have to be like that though? You're basing it off the past films. This Sarah Connor has to be whatever the writers want her to be. That is Emilia Clarke.
Isn't he currently involved in some court case for sexual harassment? That may negatively affect Korean Box Office returns for him.Day 1 for Lee Byung Hun, box office hit for Korea confirmed.

If there's one thing Emilia Clarke does well, it's nudity.

If you're talking about the shot where he "arrives" (rises), it looks lifted from the 1984 original... not re-created in CG. Re-used footage. They just changed the BG behind him a bit...

I'm confused.
1) They're clearly trying to portray her as badass. That intent is displayed in the very first scene of the trailer she appears in. Unfortunately, it's sort of at odds with a petite girl who flinches when she shoots a gun.
Casting Lee Byung-hun as the T-1000 is interesting. Liking the look of that but what's the story here?
John sends Kyle back to the T1 timeline but that's been altered because the T-800 that got sent there was already destroyed by Old Arnold who was waiting for it? Where did the aged T-800 come from?
And I'm assuming because it's a new altered timeline, the T-1000 is the T2 T-1000 but as a different actor.
Am I missing something?

How nude does she go?

His hair was only white during the helicopter scene though... he had his normal hair color in the rest of the trailer.

So from a 2 second clip of her firing a pistol, a flinch and her, height? weight?, you've come to the conclusion that she can't portray someone who can take care of herself? Strange, but ok, opinions.
I like it. No more damsel in distress ,sorry guys
