Sky News guy just brought up Mohammad Catroon's as a possible reason for the bomb. He says he is only speculating, but the newspaper near the location is the same one that chose to run the images in their papers

No, that's not really a problem here - that's more in Sweden and Denmark. But Norway has been meddling in international affairs for many years, like in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the war in Afghanistan, so there are probably several groups that don't like us. There have also been a few controversies regarding free speech-issues, like the Mohammed cartoons.

Edit: My best friend's girlfriend works right where the bomb goes off (in a publisher that has just released a book about the Mohammed cartoons, including the cartoon itself), but she was luckily home at the time.

This is sort of confusing me too, since people seem to have been injured by shrapnel far away from the building outside it's very surprising if no one died inside. And good!

I work less than a kilometer away from the blast. Felt like a truck ran into the building I was in (12 stories). Plenty of railway construction going on next door so I thought nothing of it.

Not surprised VG was targeted. Some Danish newspaper was targeted last year, but that plot also failed (the bomb detonated in a bathroom, the attacker survived). IIRC there were also plans to storm the building with weapons.
