Oh god, that would be great, give them all out in a single night, though instead of crafting just do drops. Would be great if they got numbered an announced globally too :lol

If they give any out, they won't be numbered or announced.
 
As much as I would like a golden wrench I really hope they just limit it to 100. Its probably just me but I think seeing golden corpses everywhere would be kind of out of place.
 
Doubt we will see #100 drop until midnight or 1am GMT since it's how late all the updates have been this week, I do hope we get it soon as I want to see it all before I fall asleep :D
 
I just realized. The wrangler has a joystick, and the signal looks like it goes in a straight line.

I'm fairly certain that the engineer has to point it at the sentry he wants to control (maybe he can control more than his own? doubt it) and then use the joystick to aim.

So it's not like an infrared laser for the sentry itself to shoot at.

No, but everyone else did.

And then they got me hoping that's how it would work. I am sad because this confirms that the wrangler is completely worthless to me.

Don't worry. You haven't been playing the game for the last few months, so if you don't play now, it'll be a pretty similar experience! :3
 
I crafted my first stuff today. Got rid of all the duplicate weapons and just ended up with a bunch of refined metal.

then somebody got a wrench about 30 seconds after I had finished :(

No need to farm achievements, just download the unlocker and unlock the Milestones.

This kind of stuff I completely disagree with but it's optional to those who really can't resist, I guess.

Just from playing regularly I have 1 of each item apart from the heavy's chocolate bar and only own about 3 hats, and achievement wise I have 68% without using achievement servers or external apps :D woo! I crafted about 40 spare weapons last week.

If like the other updates i'll earn them in about a week tops, and that's not whoring myself out to be an engie when not needed.

Finally we can find out if the pyro is a girl or a girlyman.
 
The achievements are actually pretty fun. I can't understand people farming them. It only takes a couple hours of normal play to get all three milestones anyway.

Never seen anyone banned for using it, they did take the Scout unlocks away from people for a few days but nothing more than that.

I have like 5 hours as a solder and have only made it to the first milestone.

I am not that good at TF2 ;-;

Well some are harder than others. Soldier scout and med take a bit longer. Heavy, sniper and spy were pretty short for me. I don't think i've tried for demo yet, I might be on 2, though. The milestones are only something like 18 achievements in all, so you can pick and choose the easy ones.

Edit: Oh, I don't have all three for the spy, either.
 
Soldier is a little hard. Took me about two weeks.

Medic's probably the hardest of all of them.

I don't play Demo, but the achievements make it look like he's just a little bit harder than Soldier.

demo and soldier are tough because you absolutely NEED an unlock or two to get all the achievements

fake edit: and i know that's...kind of the point, but some of the demo ones were really hard, and you couldn't do the eyelander or C&T because...well...you hadn't unlocked 'em yet.
 
The achievement debate is one for the ages, beside a fireplace with a nice red in hand.

That said, it isn't hard to get around 30 of each character's achievements no matter how often you play. Sniper is easily one of my least played classes and I have 31 achievements without even trying.

Medics took me about 2 Days. All of them!!! (Yeah every Achievement for the last milestone) Without an achievement server

Do not know about the soldiers one because i dont like to play soldier.
 
I don't see a problem with using an achievement unlocker if you just don't enjoy doing achievements. No sense in going to an achievement server and farming them if you don't have fun doing it.
That being said, I'm probably just going to get the items in random drops. Might take a while though.

"fairly certain" does not make it so.

I still hope it's the other way ;)

then again, maybe it'd be way too overpowered the other way.

I can't wait to see! :D
 
Acheivement unlockers should give out Vac bans.

The unlocks should be earned. Farming is fine, Same for Idle servers. Really lame to idle though but atleast its legitimate.
