We should go see what's up on the official forum, I am guessing posts about IMBA

I sure hope it only means the rounds currently in the gun (so up to 3), otherwise an engy stockpiling crit rounds seems a bit counter productive, unless they feel like dispatching people attacking their sentries instead of repairing it ad nauseum.V_Ben said:the fact that there are less shots could be seen to mean that you have to be more careful when taking them. maybe? I don't play much, so i could be wrong.

I guess, but that would be stupid. I'm thinking it is more like you have ~30 seconds to use this crit since you are enraged that your sentry is down, but who knows.flipping_heck said:If the crits stack, engy can always build and destroy and have loads of crits ready
Maybe unless your sentry has killed people or gotten assists, AND has been destroyed, your shotgun might never crit. If you can't get shotgun crits without having your sentry gun destroyed than that might not be very fun. Unless they're separating the revenge crits from the bonus crits which I guess is more likely.rhfb said:I guess, but that would be stupid. I still miss stunning uber playersBlizzard said:Maybe unless your sentry has killed people or gotten assists, AND has been destroyed, your shotgun might never crit. All I can say is, I hope they let you get the gun through achievements so I have a chance of getting it early before it's patched, if it's overpowered. Having the direct hit before it was nerfed and the before-patch ambassador in all its hitbox-ignoring shooting-through-gate glory were fun.
See Java, Valve -is- introducing microtransactions with this update. D:Technosteve said:i don't like this crafting game, i'm out of stuff to craft with and if valve would let me i would pay money to get items to craft with =D

They disabled smelting metal. Which means they disabled the infinite loop that is possible from making a refined, then breaking it apart over and over again.Sober said:What qualifies for crafting then, if they disabled reclaimed/refined until thursday? Does making scrap metal count? Or tokens? Or item+item=newitem blueprints and hats?
Spire said:Pistols don't do enough damage to kill a spy before they'd get to you, and wrenches require you to get in close. Engies can still spy-check, sure, but there is a reason the shotgun is the preferred method.

- 50% less ammo capacity
- no random crits
+ gets 'revenge crits'
+ 2 crits for each kill sentry does, + 1 crit for each assist
+ bonus crits when sentry is destroyed
Sounds.. quite powerful really..

You don't get any crits until the sentry is destroyed. Based on how many kills/assists it had, you receive all the crits at the time of destruction. Hence 'revenge crits.'

Wait...what? Damn, then I'm going to try right now. I don't have much, but ya never know...Jay Shadow said:Blog was updated to clarify that there's no daily limit and every 25 will unlock the next preview.
Keep smelting two weapons which make scrap metal, combine 3 scrap metal's to make a better one, smelt 3 of them to make the even better metal! and then 2 of them I think to make a hat. It takes like like 2 pages of guns if not 3 so it's a very VERY slow process, I have made myself one hat (found others via drop) with all my spare guns last week, it was rather pointless.Lkr said:didn't know where to post this, but does anyone understand crafting? all i want to do is make a damn hat, but this shit is so confusing

Oh good so I didn't waste my 17 crafts.Jay Shadow said:Blog was updated to clarify that there's no daily limit and every 25 will unlock the next preview.

Someone should tell them it's not a random drop but a chance to earn it via crafting anything.shintoki said:Hate this stupid thing already. All servers have their engineers cap reach, half the time it seems to be people idling. So now half the people playing...aren't actually playing. They are just trying to get a gold wrench >_>
