I think that I've found my new HTPC.
So the ARM11 CPU is basically what was in the iPhone/iPhone3G? Apparently this $25 PC does have 1080P output but I doubt such a CPU could decode 1080P video.

This would still be useful as far as general computer stuff, but I would imagine "next years model" can actually deliver a big jump in functionality if you could just hook it up to a TV/monitor and use it as a HTPC.
So I can hook my 1TB external HDD to this thing and play 1080p ripped blu-rays?
Or can I stream the same movies wirelessly from my home server?

I'm assuming that you can plug a usb hub into this device? Otherwise you couldn't use a keyboard (or any input device) whilst you have an external HDD plugged in.
What an incredible device - seeing that XMBC video has convinced me to get one when the demand crazyness dies down a bit.

Why would you even need a keyboard? Just use the xbmc remote app on your phone.
Well then you'd always need to have the ethernet plugged in, that makes the idea of sticking this into the lounge room TV a little more annoying.

Your lounge isn't wired for internet?

That's a deal breaker for me.

I just got an Email from Element 14 telling me I could place an order for one of these. Nice.
Same. Mine won't ship till April 3 but oh well, I want it.

Have this fucker here on my table (going to sell it). Made problems with the Wifi connection at my mothers pc. Just bought and installed her a wifi pci-card now. I think the software was somehow shitty.Wouldn't something like this work ?

USB wifi dongle.
What a genius idea. Didn't expect this.
I would have charged more.
Same date as me, I figure it's not too long of a wait. At least I will probably get it in a shorter amount of time than it took me to get my Touchpad.
Mine has gone from April 3 when I ordered, to May 4 after I ordered, to May 14 today. At this point it basically feels like a scam to hold my money.
