WOAH this is by far the best magic eye image I've seen, the use of depth is pretty neat. The two dogs, presents below the tree, the window with a freaking reflection of the tree; they're all placed in different layers... So damn cool.
 
Its weird how the moving video of the shark comes up nearly instantaneously vs. the static image. You'd think it would be harder.

Holy shit I hadn't noticed the reflection.
 
My head and face hurts from crossing so much my eyes. Couldn't get anything from the stereograms.

Though I could see the optical illusions coming from the "focus on the dot/cross" gif. I think I saw JC's face on that one.

Hey does anyone have any 3D programs that will render what a person sees when looking at a magic eye? Would be neat to have it in a 3DS too, just to show exactly what it should look like.
 
In times where I'm looking at this sort of stuff, I'm reminded of a road in Mexico where me and my cousin stopped for a bit and I saw a natural (?) optical (?) illusion. Driving between cities can be tiring in those parts so I thought maybe my cousin just needed to stretch out a bit. However he told me to get out of the car as well and come take a look at something...

I see him standing in the middle of this road and he points in one direction. "What's that way? Uphill or downhill?" I look in that direction and say "Uphill." He says "Right that's what we both see. And if we look back over there, we can both see that's downhill."

It was a long day and I was tired. I was getting a little annoyed by whatever this little charade was, but I looked in that opposite direction and said "Yep, obviously that's downhill. WTF you getting at?" Then he shows me a bottle of water and puts it on the ground carefully and lets it roll on its own... WUT? I did a double take at the incline... Fucking bottle rolls uphill. Or rather what he and I perceive to be uphill.

We then get in the car and pull it into the road. He puts in in neutral and it also starts to coast up the hill.

I've looked it up on the internet, but I think my google-fu is too weak to find an explanation. I've simply accepted it as a real lesson in how feeble human perception is. It's called "La Zona Magica (Magic Zone)" There's tons of video on Youtube. Here's one in english.

Usually the magic eye thing is hit or miss with me. But I guess I was doing it wrong all this time. I'm viewing this thread on an iPad so I can now focus "past the image" due to the reflective screen. Cool shit.

I figured out about 10mins ago how to see the Shark and the car in the pics on the first page, but I can't fucking see anything for this one.

Fucking frustrating that nothing is popping up for me :(

Edit: Holy fuck I see it now, A tree, presents and some dogs and something blurry in the top right

Edit: Whaaaat, on a second look that blur is a window with a reflection? That's crazy!

To be honest it doesn't work as a reflection since you see it in 3D. It just looks like theres another tree outside the window.

Still impressive.

I'm just happy that after all this time I finally figured out how these stupid things work. I kinda stare at the bottom right of the picture until my eyes lose focus naturally and then I can explore the image!

Okay, so I've been looking at the picture in the OP and they're obviously different colours. I'm looking on my phone, though.

It also helps to try and switch focus onto the hidden image once its shape starts to appear. This will help you hold it in focus and eventually you will be able to look around at different parts of the image without losing track of the hidden part.
 
I can see Magic Eye stuff, but I can never tell what it is, if that makes sense? I usually can't tell what it's meant to be, but can 'see' the effect.

I see 5 quarters in mid air but i don't see it flying as moving. Am i missing something? Am i suppose to see it moving or not? If it does fly how do i make it move while i see it in mid air?

They just float.

It's fucking weird because when I see the full sized image I can see 5 floating coins, but when I look at the thumbnail, I see ten floating coins. My brain
