Bottom right looks like a goddamn eye looking back at me, not a bullseye. Looks more oblong/elliptical than circular.

Anyway, another animooted:

This animated one is the only one I can see. I just kinda get "lost" looking into it and it slowly came to me. Looks like I'm staring at the 3D screen on a 3DS. Pretty awesome. Can't seem to do it with the still images though.

Sorry, but it just looks like it's a gradual change from one colour to the next going up and down that. Can someone crop it and put them side by side?
They're indeed the same.

They just float.

It's fucking weird because when I see the full sized image I can see 5 floating coins, but when I look at the thumbnail, I see ten floating coins. My brain
With the smaller image you're making each coin overlap with another two places to the side, instead of one directly adjacent to it. Because it's smaller you need your sight to converge at a point less far past the screen to make it look the same.

Think thats weird i dont know if you wear glasses, but if you do try this

Put your glasses close to the screen but keep your head back till you get the magnified look, and slowly bring them closer to your head it will instantly work without trying to concentrate so great for people who cant see them, this will definite work

and just to fuck with your head another little bit, after doing this where you see the 3D effect in your glasses, slowly move them off and on your head, to where through the glasses you see them pop out, but when you move them off your eyes the pic is back flat and then slowly slide them back down and it goes back to the pop out look, like your glasses somehow saved it, its crazy ha

A new challenger appears!
It's going clockwise and counterclockwise at the same time.

This is a bit easier to control than the spinning silhouette one. I can switch directions just by closing my eyes and "priming" the image in my head, whereas the other one was much more difficult to manipulate.

Also why is it always women in these illusions?

Curves help with the illusion, that would be my guess...

These are the most frustrating ones! I can see both but I can't rationalize why or switch on command.

(Also, wow, nice time gap until that bump. It works though, optical illusions are forever.)

everyone knows that boobs enhance illusions, dicks just crash everything back to reality

Years of magic eye of a kid have trained my eyes to perfectly cross and go out of focus properly enough to see 'em in a matter of seconds.

Oh god I can't make see spin anymore. She just goes from right to left with her head tilted down and then left to right with her head tilted up.

FUCK.

I can't make it go a full rotation. It keeps alternating around halfway. I felt like I had better control over the other spinning woman similar to this.

I could only see it going counter/anti-clockwise for like five minutes and then I saw it doing half-and-half like you.

So you're in a better position than some of us?

Holy shit I love magic eye puzzles. This thread is the first time I've seen the animated ones. Really cool. Subscribing to this thread for sure.

According to Facebook, this means you have trouble finishing goals in life or you never see things through.

If one of you Simpson fans can find it, there's a gif of Homer driving where you can trick your brain into seeing him speeding forward or speeding backwards (using the same trick as the woman's head above)

There's others like subway trains, etc.

Let me break it some more for you. Get to a state where you see her face flipping back and forth, and then watch her torso. Now, her face will swivel back and forth, while her torso does complete revolutions, breaking her neck each time.

That dress.

I can see three different sets of colors in that picture if I think about the environment in different ways.

Thanks everyone, I've spent the last half hour in this thread and now have a headache. And am very, very aware how inept my brain is.

Loved Magic Eye as a kid!

_c277143_image_0.jpg
I loved these things when I was younger. I had always been able to do a thing with my eyes to see double vision at will, but never had any use for it until these things showed up. The guy showing me a Magic Eye book was seeing those images really fast instead of using the method prescribed in the book, so I took a guess and tried doing my eye thing on it and bam, it worked.

Much later, I figured out the thing I was doing was changing the focal point of my eyes to something past whatever I was looking at, which happened to be exactly the trick to these things.

Yeah, you just loosen your focus a bit and bam. I've heard of people crossing their eyes but that never worked for me.

You can cross your eyes and it's easier, but the image will be inset instead of popping out which can make it harder to determine what it is
