And on the sixth day the LORD David Bowie created man and woman in His image. And he saw that it was good. On the seventh day the LORD created videogames so that He might take the bloody day off for once.
Tragic way to end it all. I gave this season the benefit of doubt the first couple episodes, but it was clear this whole thing was headed down the shitter real quick.
Every single character was a shell of their former self, but by far worst victim was Huey. His anemic portrayal straight up ruined the heart and soul of this show. Without the voice of McGruder, it was all worthless.

I am about as big a fan of The Boondocks as one possibly could be and after the first few episodes, I lost all interest. It honestly makes me sad. Would rather have waited for however long it took McGruder than end up with what it became.

It's a truly sad day when I don't want this.
Truth - S4 was basically dragging the zombie corpse of The Boondocks out to 'shuck and jive' for whatever ratings they could get - ugh.
Unfortunately we were part of the problem by watching these cringe worthy Season 4 McGruder-less episodes hoping something good would happen. Not this time though. I will preemptively renounce Season 5 and all it's works.

...I'm going to pass, Season 4 was just disappointing overall. Thankfully I have the first 3 seasons on DVD and that's fine for me.

I'm on the series finale. It's certainly not the best Boondocks season, but it seems to be about the same echelon as Season 3 for me. The Kardashian ep. was rubbish, but overall I enjoyed it.
