Jesus, what are you using to capture that? Have you mentioned it in this thread at all?

Amazing work. Sharp as hell.

For a second there I thought that was an actual photograph! Anyways have you seen the motion blur applied in this game? It's incredible! If I had a capture card I could show it, especially in the horse riding sequence
(where you try to chase Ellie)
by tilting the right stick very slowly you'll notice the motion blur in the trees makes it look surreal. I hope someone could take a screenshot of that because it's phenomenal.

TLOU's lighting is stunning. Hard to believe this is running on hardware made in 2005.
At times the environments look pre-rendered, just so much detail everywhere you look. You can see why it took all those years to complete.

It is easily the most visually spectacular game out there IMO.

That's because it's a ground shot. Get one from on the tower or at least a skyscraper, I bet it looks better :)

Also, there's like, nothing on the streets in that shot. There are places in the industrial area and the final area where there's gotta be at least 100 pedestrians and 20 cars on screen at the same time.

What Crackdown lacks in visual polish it makes up for in some pretty serious density, and an amazing memory of the things you've done. I've blown up an entire city block to take out some gang thugs, drove to the other end of the city, come back 15 minutes later and all the rubble from the gang war I took part in is still there, and still burning.

You ask, you get ;)

And that's why Wipeout HD is still one of the best looking games I've ever seen. That native 1080 with amazing IQ.

I know that replay mode cheats a little bit, but it still looks phenomenal. And with that Fury add-on, still my favourite racer of all time.

Seems to be all the rage nowadays. Can't wait until I get another console game! And with PS4 and X1 letting you take screenshots I can see the console screenshot thread being more active.

Wait, GTA V actually looks this good? This looks far beyond GTA IV on the PS3, which looked like someone had smeared vaseline all over the screen.

Nice shots dudes.

Yes, it is very impressive. The lighting is crazy, especially when you view the city at night from atop a cliff.

Yep, it looks really good and I was always impressed by it for being an open ended game.

GTA IV on PS3 had a blur fliter sadly. But this game uses FXAA.

I'm holding out for the PS4 version, something like this game where I will be pumping in the hours I want it to look as good as possible. Plus my backlog is big enough right now that I can handle the wait.

Well lets hope it comes to PS4, though it could be a long while before that happens.
