well to be fair the game is absolutely gorgeous, heck I played it on a sdtv and the jump to an actual hd resolution is freaking huge compared to anything I've seen.KZObsessed said:After playing the SP 3 times and 700+ hours in the muliplayer I still enjoy looking at screens of KILLZONE 2 :lol
Sad I know!
Sweet, from now i'll just post 720p shots. I'm posting .png's so they're pretty large file sizes, i just thought lowering the res they'd load faster but there's not much difference.Yoboman said:Nice shots Stillmatic, why not in 720p though?

panda21 said:er thats from an emulator right? unless you have a magic gamecube/wii that can render at that resolution?

It's more to do with my capture gear. It's definitely crisper when i'm playing. FWIW i'm capturing through component cables as well. I think i just need to do some experimenting, hopefully that'll get some sharper images.Sectus said:This is probably flamebait, but while those Killzone 2, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 screenshots looks good... don't they look rather blurry? Is it lowres upscaled, or is it an actual blur filter? Either way, I don't really like that look.
As a comparison, here's a screenshot of SF4:

Graphics obviously isn't as impressive, but I like how crisp and clear it looks.
Most people seem to go for the Black magic Intensity Pro (scroll down) for capturing PS3/360 footage. It's affordable and the quality is great. It has component and HDMI input/outputs, though you can't hook the PS3 up to it via HDMI (360 you can). If you want to capture PS3 footage then you need to use the component input, though you can output with either component or HDMI.Gully State said:Any recommendations for a capture card? And also what's a good budget for one?
He posted one single shitty pic of BC2, it looks good in motion considering the huge enviroments and destruction.SolidusDave said:btw. BC2 looks horrible, no PQ whatsoever :lol

No worries.Schrade said:Stillmatic, thanks so much. This is so refreshing seeing actual screen captures rather than photos of a TV screen.

Yeah there was a blur filter on low by default, i took off and tested InFamous and GT, i think they're clearer than the other posts? Pity i didn't notice it was on earlier.BeeDog said:Good pictures Stillmatic, but, no offense, they are a bit on the blurry side. Perhaps there are some incorrect settings on your end?
Still, waaaay better than shitty off-screen pictures.
