The statements come after Jones announced film makers are viewing locations in Grand Ledge for an upcoming Batman film. Jones made the announcement on his Facebook page.
A film company is investigating Grand Ledge for filming a new Batman movie. They looked at Fitzgerald Park, The Grand Ledge water treatment plant, and the underground vault area.
The water treatment guys and cop riding shotgun are going to be in a scene together?!?!DMczaf said:http://michiganmessenger.com/46204/jones-i-dont-favor-ending-the-michigan-film-credit
Water Treatment!?
Watch out for the main hub!

He could play Arthur* Reeves (or a similar role) from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.DMczaf said:Only idea I've liked from what's been brought up is having JGL playing the head of the unit chasing Batman.
You can already see him being a complete douche to Gordon, just look at this face.

"And so it begins! They are doing a plate shot in a helicopter over New York City this week. Apparently, Chris Nolan wants to get the city with snow on the ground."

What do you guys think.
I disagree. However, I do believe that this means we will be seeing the popular Batman villain, The Penguin. As you might know, The Penguin has been featured in television and movie versions of the Caped Crusader.SpeedingUptoStop said:This news makes me believe he is filming scenes that will feature popular Batman villain, Mr. Freeze.

But Lliam, think about your (fictional) daughter! No Ra's Al Ghul In Dark Knight Rises
Even though director Christopher Nolan has set his Batman films in a more or less real world setting, some fans have still speculated that Liam Neeson's Ra's al Ghul character -- last seen taking a dive onboard a plummeting train -- might return to the series. What do you think was his answer?
We spoke to Neeson this past weekend and asked him if he will play Ra's again at some point. The character, after all, is virtually immortal in the comics.
His response was that he "definitely" won't be in the next film and hasn't even been approached about it, but he'd maybe kick around the idea of returning as Ra's down the line sometime. We definitely got the vibe that Batman Begins was just a gig and didn't mean all that much to him. In fact, he picked Superman as his favorite superhero when asked -- he said Batman was too gloomy.
Oh, and he'll be filming Clash of the Titans 2 when Dark Knight Rises shoots anyway

I don't like it when actors say that one of their role was "just a gig" or something like that.SpeedingUptoStop said:http://ie.movies.ign.com/articles/114/1148186p1.html

I can't take the role seriously after that.

Speaking to Pfister and Corbould beforehand, it's clear both men are a bit more preoccupied with prepping "The Dark Knight Rises" than worrying about campaigning for "Inception." Pfister told me it would be an even longer shoot than "Inception," which was seven months, and Corbould noted Nolan had provided a number of practical effect challenges which would be their most complicated yet. And considering that Pfister has worked with Nolan since "Memento" and Corbould on all the "Batman" films as well as "Inception," that's quite a statement.
