no but I am guessing it got an average score of 8.5 because it was short and had little replay value

It runs great, it looks great and it has more tv content.

Haven't seen the 360 version but when there is graphical improvement it can't be any more than a very little... the PS3-version is NOT a watered down port at all, like VT3, FEAR, THP8 etc.

That's badass news. I've been holding off on preordering just in case it got the bad port treatment, but since you seem so sure, I'm going to go preorder ASAP. My local game shop has a prebook date of June 8th, meaning I can't preorder after that. (I like to support my small shop, not the Gamestop that built themselves across the street)

yea but read the interview, Paul Jenkins didn't allow that idea to happen.

That's something we've tried to include in the game and I was amazed that we were even able to pull it off a little bit.

I think I'll go 360, since I have other games out on the PS3 at that time and I really don't want to have to change disks. The first console that includes a bellay for three games at a time wins my vote.

Chronicles of Riddick was probably the second best fps on the original Xbox. I thought it was much better than Halo 2 single player. Can't wait to get my hands on it, Starbreeze will deliver in spades.

I know this is a stupid question, but do you fight any non-human enemies in this game? Jackie seems grossly overpowered compared to well, all of his foes, the fights they've shown in every video have been very anticlimactic.

And did anyone else want to scream "use the shotgun!" during at least 5 points in that video? I hate dual-wielded pistols in FPS.

Granted I haven't watched every available vid of this game, but I wouldn't really count that as destructible environments. Simply because that's the only time the portal seemed to affect anything environment-wise. Seems pretty place specific to me.

Mesijs, one more question; does the graphical quality of the game still hold up when you play it in standard def? Most of the HD-scenes look incredible, but I think the game will lose some (if not a lot) of it's graphical impact when it's played on a SDTV. Care to elaborate?

Yeah I thought the actual gunplay looked a bit tepid in these vids. Hopefully not a substantial indication cuz I'm definitely digging everything else. Terrific atmosphere.

Everything looks great from what little I've watched (so as not to spoil myself too much), but I asked this in another The Darkness thread and didn't get an answer: is Riddick-style melee combat in this game (maybe with tentacles or whatever instead of fists)? What about integrated stealth? And RPG/adventure elements like Riddick?
