- I work graveyard, so it's very difficult for me to play with friends. (I live in the US, but tend to play with MANY gamers in the UK due to my work schedule - have mercy UK gamers, add me and let's play! PSN: Kontroversy)
- I played WoW for years, ending in 2008...mostly PVE.
- Today...I spend the majority of my gaming time participating in competitive multiplayer games..Shooters are my fave.

While I love a strong single player campaign and a I love competitive multiplayer, I wouldn't expect all (or even most) great games to have one or both... I love those things, but every game shouldn't have everything I love... it wouldn't turn out well.

Interesting thread. One issue I see is that not everybody will have played all these games/franchises. So a 'No' response for 'Do you love Borderlands' wouldn't necessarily mean they don't like Borderlands, just that by default, they couldn't 'love' it because they haven't played it. And thus a bit of the connection you're trying to make here might not work 100%.

But good idea, otherwise. Interested in seeing the overall results.

All I need to rate this game 10/10 is better story presentation. They can keep the story the same, just give me more dialogue or cutscenes (skippable) that motivate me to continue on to the next task. The Reef first visit was a great example, just give me more of that storytelling.

I haven't played a ton, but it's not fun without other people, and grinding is required to play.
Grinding in a shooter is really not something I enjoy doing.
