As I said earlier, it's just out of curiosity to check if there's a pattern between people loving Destiny and the ones more lukewarm to it.

5. Do you love the Halo franchise? No. I've never owned an Xbox, but I've played Halo 2 on PC and enjoyed it, though I wouldn't say I love the franchise.
6. Do you love the Borderlands franchise? No. I like the gameplay, but the cartoony graphics and poor physics feel like a turn off.
7. Do you love the Diablo franchise? N/A. Never tried it, though I plan on getting the UEE once I upgrade.
8. Do you love the Left 4 Dead franchise? N/A. Never owned an Xbox, never had a good enough PC to run it.
9. Do you love competitive multiplayer? Yes. Only if it's done right. I've burned 100s of hours on Black Ops II, but sold Ghosts in March.
10. Do you love a strong single player campaign? Yes. I love games like TLoU, 1886, and Bloodborne. The single player probably wasn't meant to be very strong in this game, considering it's a "shared-world" shooter. I do wish they went deeper into the lore though.

2. 2. It's incredibly repetitive and boring. The visuals and high production values are basically the main sources of enjoyment for me 7 hours in.

As requested, my input. I enjoy what Destiny is, but it could have been far better if it had of tried harder. Was this the fault of last-gen shackles? I think so, especially with how large some areas are but are still filled with invisible walls or empty caves.

I have found that Destiny is pushing me to go play Diablo or Borderlands though, just because I feel like things are more solid in those two franchises. I get my loot satisfaction from Diablo, and the story elements from Borderlands.

Basically I like the game for the reasons I wanted to like borderlands. Borderlands may have had a better loot system, but the world and feel of combat in Destiny is much better IMO, while still having enough of an RPG addictiveness to it.
