Bwaaaaaaaaaa. Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa Bwaa.

Funny stuff.

Anyone else think Ubi will start porting Rabbids stuff for Kinect and Move?

It's a sequel to TV Party instead of Go Home? :( That's too bad, I'm not jonesing for another minigame collection.

This QL is great, though. :lol <3 Vinny
In their favor they did try to inject some adventurey stuff in there. I have a feeling this is probably how the first rabbids would have turned out before they scrapped the platforming.
I lost it at the end "No no no! Dont drown the baby!!"

True, it seems like it's a bit of a mix. The first three Rabbids games were basically just menu-driven.

i like when vinny just loses it due to the screams

hahahahaha
Vinny, are you okay?
I don't know...

Lame, I can't get any videos to load on the Giant Bomb app. Gotta wait to watch :(
You can use minibomb as mentioned, or just load the full GB site, the videos are HTML5 now so it should work just fine.

Wait, they are? I didn't know that.

They posted a Jeff + Alex quicklook of Splatterhouse. I lasted about 90 seconds before I had to turn it off. My previous mild annoyance with Alex is becoming full-fledged dislike and working towards hatred.

Can't listen to that guy.

I must revise my opinion of Travel in Time after watching a bit more of that QL.

While I'm still disappointed this isn't a full fledged singleplayer adventure like Go Home, this seems much more elaborate than the minigame collections. In addition to all the exploration/adventuring going on before they even entered the first minigame, I was expecting stuff similar to TV Party: simple 20-30 seconds of gameplay with one button used max. But fuck, it turns out that the first "minigame" is a 2 minute long competitive platforming romp through the sinking Titanic!

I am intrigued.

Let's share more Alex love/hate ;)

Quick Look: Splatterhouse (31:30)
Hey, Alex isn't completely terrible in this QL, yay.

Seems like a fairly straightforward brawler/beat em up. It's got Madworld matched in gore, but not style. Seems like a fairly solid B-tier rent kinda deal if you've already played most of the other action games this year.

ON TOPIC

Dead Nation seems like a competent isometric/top down shooter. I feel I've had my share with Alien Swarm and Lara Croft for the isometric part, and the Zombie shootin' part with... every fucking game released this year, but this looks like good clean* fun in co-op.

*and by that I mean messy, and dark.

Ditto.

Man I love the Rabbids, I haven't even played a single game they're in but I can't help but laugh when I see them. Was so happy when I saw them in some car ads (Renault I think I dunno).

Dead Nation - 26:28. Featuring Brad and Vinny - Haunted's favorite combo!

I want to play coop with Vinny too!

Edit: I thought this game was just gonna be arena style like Super Stardust HD but with zombies. Glad to see it has more depth than that. Reminds me alot of Alien Swarm, hopefully there's more to it in terms of narrative. But I'll definitely pick this one up.

I think Alex is annoying because he tries to treat every quicklook like he's on Mystery Science Theater, but he isn't ever funny.

:lol :lol That is amazing.

I want to play this game just for Danny Trejo. Best tutorial guy ever.

"You can do anything you want!! ... just don't move your feet, or it'll break the game". :lol

edit: stopped 15 minutes in, the fights don't look good at all. Punches feel super weak, more like dragging the arms around, sometimes the opponent (and your own model) react to just being touched without a real punching motion because the mapping of what you're doing to the actual model is so wonky.

Give me a proper Fight Night game over this any fucking day.

Actually no,
I suggest you check out the OT for the Fight.
The game is amazing, punches are great and 1/1 tracking perfect and lag-less.

Your fighter starts off weak, as you spend skill points he gets stronger and fitter and your punches start doing moere damage.

Also in the QL they didn't really punch, they just made whimpy punching movements.
The game requires you to really punch.
The hits in-game are but as strong and precise as your hits.
If you fight like whiny bitch, the fighter on screen will too.

Try buying point cards with your creditcard on gamepointsnow.com. I use them all the time to quickly acquire UK/US psn cards. You get the code mailed to you instantly.

Agreed 100%.

Also, he doesn't really ask questions about the game to inform the viewer. Kind of a waste having him on there. Just made Splatterhouse seem even worse that it is.

Vinny and Ryan QLs are the best, love the both of them :)

Regarding Navarro; I much prefer him at Screened.com were I really like all of his segments. He seems more comfortable by himself or with Rorie than with the Giant Bomb guys. But I'm no hater, just like with Kessler I have no problems with him participating in the QLs.

Quick Look: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

Great that Vinny is in the latest QL's :)
Looking forward to watching this! But I'm not sure about the Ryan/RPG combo... He tends to be pretty uninterested and even more so when it comes to JRPGs : |

Couldn't finish the Dead Nation one. The game just seems so dull to me. Harry Potter on the other hand looks AWFUL, but makes for a hilarious video.
