You guys seriously don't get it do you? Brad is like the Andy Kaufmann of the video game world, playing you all for the long con and never breaking character. These Quick Looks are his equivalent of reading 'The Great Gatsby' on stage.

Also Brad is the undefeated Inter-Gender Wrestling Champion of the world.

I'm not saying that just because it's this game. I like ICO and SOTC but I roll my eyes as hard as the next guy when people talk about how they cried and THIS IS ART and so on. I just think when a game is misrepresented they should try to correct it in some minimally effortful way, as a general practice. I just happen to be talking about this game at this time.
 
Maybe they should let Brad only do quick looks of really really REALLY hard games. That way if he fails, he has the excuse that it's a really hard game. If he does really well, then everybody thinks he's super awesome at games.

Bloodrayne: Betrayal is supposedly super difficult (according to game informer anyway), they can let him quick look that.

Dark Souls

Though I'd rather Vinny do Dark Souls since he actually finished Demon's Souls

I hope to god that she's a relative of his, and that this quick look hasn't reduced gaffers to snatching children off playgrounds, shoving them into vans, and forcing them to identify HUD elements.

If this does happen, then Xenoblade Chronicles seems like a good option IMO. Ever since I started it, I though it would fit well in the same way Persona 4 did. It'a much more open-ended, but there is some good story beats for them to stop on each episode.

Would be a nice turnaround from Persona 4 too, as that game was not available in Europe when they started, so having Xenoblade Chronicles unavailable in the US would be interesting. Raising awareness of the game for a possible US release could be good to.

The whole importing / modding is silly easy, so that should not be a problem either.

Would they enjoy the story, characters and voice acting as much as they did in P4, though?

No, probably not. IMO the quirkyness and the modern day setting are pretty big reasons why they liked P4.

From what I've seen Xenoblade seems like a more traditional jRPG.

I didn't think that Charlie Murder game looked horrible like you guys did, but I did find myself thinking "this is really derivative" a lot.
 
Well, I normally try not to shit on games after a poor quick look, but that looked pretty uninspired.

Good news for anyone who can't get enough brawlers, I guess. I played them as a kid but I think their time has passed. Still get nostalgic for the old TMNT games, though.
 
Before watching the Charlie Murder QL, I was expecting it to not look so hot because of you guys, buy wow. It looks terrible.

Jeff was right when he said 2D brawlers are, and should remain, dead.
